  1. Amanda! That's a big wad of hair! I have thick hair too, so maybe it won't be noticeable. That is scary though! :/
  2. I would loooove to go to PV if I had the money. The plane tickets were higher and also I would have had to get a passport instead of the passport card- which was much cheaper. When you're on a budget these little things add up. But if I had the money right now, I would go to PV!
  3. Has anyone used this company associated with Dr. Garcia? I've mainly talked with R4AC patients and Alma, but I've spoken with Alisha from Tijuana Bariatrics and like her a lot any reviews?
  4. Who is Dr Diaz? Is there a website that I can look at?
  5. I'm having a lot of anxiety tonight over this and reading your post has helped ease my mind somewhat lol thank you!
  6. I am also a hairstylist and I have been wondering since we are on our feet all day, when were you able to return to work after your surgery? Did you feel weak at all?
  7. I'm still researching Dr. Illan but if I do go with him it will be in late August/ early September
  8. Which surgeon did you decide on?
  9. I've noticed many doctors use drains, but there are few that do not. Of course I'm not looking forward to having a drain, but is it really a necessity to have one? I would think that having a drain would alert the doctor of any kind of infection etc. So, if I don't have one how can they tell? Just curious is all. Did any of the Dr's or nurses explain to any of you why it is (or isn't) important to have a drain? Thanks!
  10. The cheapest airline tickets I found was through United Airlines. Just go to every airline website and enter the dates in and they will quote you a price.
  11. Out of these three I would go with Aceves. I've pondered on all of these surgeons as well, but I have never once read a bad review on Dr. Aceves. Plus he has the most experience out of the 3 you listed above. Aceves/Alvarez are about the same price- I really like how Dr. Alvarez has his YouTube channel and answers questions. He's very informative and interacts with his patients a lot.
  12. Have you heard anything back from Alma? She usually responds very quickly. I would just check back in with her.
  13. You're back
  14. I definitely would like to see mine! I bet that sucker is huge! Lol
  15. I didn't have acid reflux at all until I put on all this weight. I'm on Nexium now so hopefully after I lose weight the acid reflux will go away as well
  16. I'm hoping for an August surgery! If I can save up enough money between now and then...
