  1. Praying for you. I understand what you are going thru. My husband was on the list for a heart and I now I have had a sleeve. Just know that I will be in the operating room praying for you. Sending GODS blessings and speed your way. You are loved. HUGGGGGGGGS
  2. I was great I thought at 1 week. I went to the grocery store and was weak and dizzy. By week 2 I felt better. I find that when im out i feel better with water. I keep a bottle with me at all times. When i feel dizzy i drink. I am now 5 weeks out and I have no issues. I don't go back to work until 11/21 but I am ready. I didn't drive until my 4th week op. I had just one incision that bothered me so I decided to take it easy.
  3. Well in sure every clinic loves when we purchase the products from them however you need to find one that you can handle. Talk with your nut. Some adjustment need to be made. My liquid diet was sf Jello, pudding, broth, water, shakes, and any sf drink not including carbonated drinks. Go onto unjury.com they have recipes on making shakes taste different.
  4. No broth or sf Jello? What brand shakes are you using? Everyone likes something different. I like EAS carb advantage and premiere RTD shakes. I have tried powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury and chike but I like the RTD shakes the best.In the shakes try adding sf powdered pudding mix it helps with the taste and blend with a lil ice. Will be frothy if made with water. I used unsweetened almond milk no froth with that. In your water try sf haiwaiin punch or crystal light.
  5. Are you on total liquids? If so what else can you have beside vanilla shakes? Your electrolytes are off and that happens with preop diet. Tell us what else is included in your preop diet and we will help you along. Remember you must follow what your surgen/nut has set for your journey.
  6. I am a 5 wks out. I do have the belching and it is when I'm full, hungry, and more when constipated . My gurgling has stopped. I felt the fullness with liquids but everyone is different. If I drank to much I would get nauseous so I started paying attention to what restriction felt like. When you get there you will know. But don't really worry about restriction or fullness while on liquids is what I was told by my surgeon/nut. I still don't feel hungry unless I have gone all day without any intake. Bad as it is I have done this. It's hard to get everything down sometimes especially when I'm constipated. TMI but it's so true.
  7. I follow you and it's always a blessing. Thank you for your inspiration.
  8. You are doing so great keep it up.
  9. Yes it is. I was told that if I couldn't move I would be admitted.
  10. I chose not to use the smooth tea because my surgeon said to stay away from stimulant producing laxatives. But this is terrible so I may need to do it.
  11. I requested u all. How are ur ladies doing since surgery? How much have u lost since surgery? I have only lost 20lbs been staled for 2.5 wks. No problems with surgery or recovery. Just major constipation. Im able to digest water and protien with no problems.
  12. I was worried about this also. I asked surgeon and was assured it would change. Just as she said it would it did. liquids go straight thru. This is why we can't eat and drink at the same time. Don't worry.
  13. OTR where did you get the cleanse from. I have gout , 4wks out from surgery and ave had 2 flare ups.
  14. Keep up the GREAT work. Her insecurties can't hold you hostage. You look amazing. Keeping me ready to reach my 5months.
  15. I burp if I am or not eating/drinking. When I'm constipated I seem to belch even more as time goes on. I don't even know when it's coming. I have forewarned everyone.
  16. Have fun and listen to the bowel sounds. Lol

I was always "regular"...at least once a day. I am 4 days post op and nothing yet. I am starting to have some gas that I am not so sure I want to trust, but still nothing. Not cramping or anything, so I believe everything is fine...just curious as to how long after surgery it took for everyone else? It was over wk post op for me. I had to take milk of magnesia, stool softner, and benefiber. No I take stool softner 2x daily. Still no regular BM. Quote MultiQuote Edit Report
