  1. Congrats!! Good to hear you are feeling better and now loving the sleeve life. I'm 3.5 weeks out and have moments of "this is the best ever!" And moments of "why the crap did I do this?" Congrats again on your loss!
  2. All depends on the surgeon. One 12oz serving is 30 calories and 7g of sugar. It is within my daily allowance. But I would ask for sure.
  3. Izuri!! Wow you look amazing!!! Huge congrats to you!!!
  4. You are amazing!! Such an inspiration!!! Congrats on your loss!
  5. I'm only three and a half weeks out, but I guess you can see a difference...
  6. I'm thirsty all day too. Can't get enough smart water or g2. Sad part is since I drink all day, I pee all day. LoL!!
  7. Depends on how far out. Also some will say limited carbs, some will say carbs in moderation. Some say all sugar free, some say sugar in moderation. What is your surgeons diet plans?
  8. My name is hthode if you would like to add me.
  9. I had some drainage around my drain too. Change the dressing regularly and keep the area clean. The drain grossed me out. But I had mine out in a week and was so much better.
  10. Do your breathing exercises. That will help clear any crud that may have settled. Also I found if I drink too much at one time I get some pain around my diaphragm. Best advice I can give is pay attention to what your body says. If something feels not right don't hesitate to call your docs office. Focus on daily victories. Like if you get your daily water in, celebrate that. If you walk 5x in one day celebrate that. One day at a time. Before you know it, you will be two weeks out and feeling much better. Day four was not fun for me. After about day six I started to feel human again.
  11. Product reviews state yogurt can be used as long as it is frozen solid, much like the fruit. http://m.voices.yahoo.com/product-review-yonanas-banana-ice-cream-maker-11809380.html
  12. Also with so much change happening, our body's are in shock. You are still really fresh out of surgery. I feel it is normal to have the buyers remorse with such a drastic change. But give it time. Let your body heal. Adjust to your new "normal" relationship with food. And above all listen to your body and talk to your surgeon and/or PCP about concerns.
  13. I am going to my PCP to discuss what can be done. In the meantime, to help prevent dizzy spells upon standing, I move my ankles and flex my calfs. Get the blood moving. Low BP can be treated by adding more salt to your diet. Not tons, but a reasonable amount. If you are on meds for high BP, I would suggest getting with PCP soon to adjust your dosage. Take your time getting up, flex ankles and calfs, and walk to get your heart moving the blood. Low BP isn't something to take lightly, but with direction from your PCP who knows your medical history, it can often be treated fairly easy.
  14. I have issues with anxiety. That I attribute to the crazy things hormones are doing with rapid weight loss. Also I get dizzy real easy. Some people experience that when their dehydrated. Try to get no less then 60oz of water a day at minimum. The more the better. My dizziness is more attributed to the drop in BP. Preop I was 136/88. Wednesday at my three week it was down to 106/60.
  15. I just ordered mine yesterday. I should have it in a few days. You can do more then frozen bananas with it. There are a few people here that have one. If you search yonanas on here you will find a lot of info. Good, bad, and indifferent. Reading what others said helped me make my decision to buy. I'm on soft foods, so I figured it would work for that. When I hit 6 weeks I'm going to try adding berries and citrus.
  16. Congrats!!! Less then two weeks!! Very exciting!! Good luck on your surgery and you will be rocking the sleeve before you know it!!
  17. To the op, that just gave me an idea. What about diet sprite with some isopure pre mixed? I think there might be a few flavors that would taste decent.
  18. Dang it, now I'm going to have to watch the movie...
  19. Isopure has the pre mixed. There are a lot of flavors. For the first few days post op I couldn't do super cold. But about four days out I started adding a few ice cubes and blending the isopure to almost a slushy consistency. It watered down the flavor some so it wasn't too sweet. The fruit punch is pretty strong. There is a pineapple banana flavore that I liked too. They sell them at GNC. But even the strong flavors can be diluted with Water so they aren't so sickening sweet. Also you can try adding unflavored Protein Powder to crystal light or mio. I prefer the Syntrax unflavored, but a lot of people speak highly of the unjury unflavored too.
  20. I was thinking of heating up four or five black beans to add to my fish. Getting gourmet up in here!!
  21. Three weeks out and would LOVE to try a cool ranch Doritos locos taco. Mmmmmm But instead, I'll steam some fish. LoL!!!!
  22. It gets better. :-) I'm three weeks out and down almost 25 since surgery date. Pain gets better every day. Walk a lot to help with the gas pain. Try eating ice when they let you. I woke up still in the OR thinking OMFG what did I just do??!?!? That was after having a few break downs in the pre op room. Every day you will notice a small improvement, and it will feel like a huge accomplishment. Also don't be afraid to use pain meds if it is unbearable. Set a pain goal and work with the nurses to stay under that goal. I set mine at a 4 out if 10. Every four hours they would bring me my pain meds so I could stay ahead of the pain. It is horrible trying to play catch up. Congrats on surgery!! :-)
