Drain Question

Question to those who have had to have a drain. My incision sight, where the drain is located is leaking from the incision wound. I had to change by bandage twice today. It normal color, smell etc and I called the nurse and she said some drainage is normal, but did you all experience drain leakage from the incision like that? I know it shouldn't bother me, but it does.

If the nurse says its normal then your fine. Had a drain put in and it sucked, but best believe everything is in place where it needs to be.

I had some drainage around my drain too. Change the dressing regularly and keep the area clean. The drain grossed me out. But I had mine out in a week and was so much better.
