  1. I had my surgery with dr. Almanza on July 9, 2012. I was wondering if other people in my goup had site infections as well. I just came from the ER last night and i have an abcess under one of my wounds. I have 3 site infections out of five. The largest incision is still bleeding a slot. To the point that I have to change the dressing three times a day. Er had advised me that if this incision does not heal and continue tot have pockets of blood under it, it have to return to Mexico to have the incision reopened. The docs here in the US will not touch somebody else's surgery. So I am left in limbo. The problem is, I don't think the surgeon there will do it. That place is a factory! I was happy with their care, everything looked clean but I have no idea how they sanitize their surgical equipment so quickly with the amount of surgeries they have each day. There were 14 surgeries that day, but I was the third. I don't think they're gave me enough antibiotics. I suggest for those about to have surgery, visit the hospital and ask how they sanitze their equipment. Also have your own MD prescribe you prophylactic antibiotic if you are prone to infection. I hope my wound infection issue is resolved. I really do not want to go back to TJ.
  2. Me too !! See you there!
