I went to a 30 year high school reunion last October. I looked forward to seeing most of the people but my real motivation was to see the 'mean girls'. The ones in jr high and high school that belittled me, called me fat or ugly, and made a point to exclude me from anything that was happening. I had seen their pictures etc on Facebook and I knew that the years had not been kind to them. I figured I would go and we would see what kind of comments they felt like making now. Kind of like a How Do You Like Me Now type of thing.
So i get there, the mean girls are there and I find myself talking with them. As much as I wanted to rub it in their faces i just couldn't. They had frumpy hair, were mostly pretty hefty ladies at this point, some had terrible teeth, and they all had a look of defeat in their eyes when they saw me. I couldn't do it. I felt sorry for them because the cute popular girls they used to be had been replaced with old and frumpy. So instead of getting my long anticipated revenge i ended up being the most gracious, friendly, caring person you've ever met. Can you believe it?? All you want is a little satisfaction but no...instead you cannot bring yourself to treat others as they once treated you. Go figure!

Yes. Contact your insurance company and ask them the requirements though. Any insurance requirements I have read say that if you have a BMI of 35 and under you must have atleast 2 comorbities. You can even google that information for your insurance company.

I havent seen it but I stopped watching "reality tv" years ago. I cant stomach the scripted crap. The reality of "reality tv" is they needs ratings so they set it up so you keep watching. People love watching train wrecks and that is how the show makes their money. The best thing to do is turn it off and tune it out completely. I like positive uplifting stories about people that have overcome lifes struggles and I also cant stand the fact that people make money off of other peoples hardships for the sake of entertainment.

Monday, I found out that a coworker died suddenly because of an aneurism. One of my friends underwent surgery to remove a tumor...6 hours of surgery later, it was actually many tumors and now needs to go through chemo & radiation therapy. My sister in law just had a double mastectomy and is half way through Chemo.
Yet we (veterans, newbies, & the in between) are on a support board arguing with one another over some petty stuff in comparison. SMH. Isn't it exhausting to be mean, condescending, judgemental, sarcastic, and argumentative? Goodness gracious!

Oh my gosh! The Pizza! Is it just me or do you now notice that we are bombarded with pizza everywhere we go? I never realized how much influence pizza has on us until now.

I know how you feel. I had my surgery on the 10th. I have just been trying to keep my eye on the prize. I am not giving up and i will not allow myself to fail. You will be fine. Once we are eating regular food we will feel satiated. i get 90g of Protein a day and sometimes i need more than liquid in my stomach. I feel the grinding of hunger and it sucks but I know that once we are allowed to really eat that will go away. You are in my thoughts. I feel your pain. Keep your head up.

I like them. They are good for a crunch. I have not had them again since my surgery. I have a while before I'm allowed to eat them but when i tried them they werent that bad.

I had no issues either. The only thing that I am dealing with now is heartburn. Cravings...Pizza. I feel as though I am infitrated by pizza everywhere i turn but then I am at a place where I am kind of hating food. Im glad you are doing well. keep me posted.

@ I have Synthex-6 vanilla ice cream and also bought almond and cashew milk. i also have chocolate Premier Protein. I have also bought the unjury chicken Soup. I have tried Unjury chocolate and I like that as well. I also would recommend Chike. it is so good. Make sure you buy some PB2 powder to doll up your vanilla and you can also but the SF Torini. I have even covered the basis of Water. I have lemon flavored torini SF to mix in my Water. I love variety so as not to get bored quickly. i start my 2 week diet tomorrow, Today is food funeral.

I'm home now. Got home last night. I'm having some heartburn and gas. Looking forward to getting back to 100%. I knew it wouldn't be easy. One hour at a time

@Nikkidoodlebug. I'm sorry things are rough right now. I'm home now and feeling a little better. My stomach feels like it's got a bubble in it. My sense of taste is totally off. Keep your chin up. You are stronger than you think.
