I had my surgery on a Tuesday and returned to work the following Monday. If you are able to take more time do it. It was hard returning to work while still on liquids and learning a new eating routine.

Congratulations and welcome. Rest up, heal and don't push yourself too hard, let your body heal. This is the beginning of an amazing journey.

My husband is my biggest cheerleader. I will say that our sex life is improving greatly.....50 pounds lighter makes a big difference. I was big when we met and he has always said that he loves everything about me, not just the physical appearance. I could not of done this without his support and I know he will be beside me all the way.

Awww sorry. I know how that feels. We have been trying to get pregnant for 11 years. I have seen many many babies come during that time. It never really gets easier. ((hugs))It does get easiet with age. I was never blessed with conceiving a child, spent many years and dollars trying. When I entered my 40s the emotions settled... I think in biological clock quit. Lol. Don't get me wrong it still hurts not being a mom. It has a lot to do with my weight problems.... I battled the why me.
Anyway I guess what I'm saying is there is live without parenthood.

Love that one! For me it was the day I realized that the plus sizes where too big and I shopped in the misses department. First time since high school (46 yrs old).

Hey neighbor, I'm in Georgetown, work in Austin. I was banded in February. Don't think of this as a diet that you can fail at. This is a lifestyle change. There will be ups and downs just like everything else in life. It will be a learning curve but you will do great. Just relax and focus on healing after surgery. I am still new at this myself, if you follow the 8 golden rules you will be fine.
You can email me: ajtexas0@gmail and if you use myfitnesspal then add me as a friend: ajtexas0.
Did you go through True Results in north Austin?

I am new to this. I was banded in Feb 2012, lost 46 lbs. Feel like I'm loosing focus.... 4 pounds away from weighing under 200. For some reason this milestone scares me. I haven't been this weigh since high school (46 years old). I have a fully supportive husband and family and until now I've been doing this without using the support groups. I think it's time to reach out for support. I don't want to go backwards and I keep finding myself making bad food choices, eating too much, etc. I haven't gained but I haven lost in the last month either. Is this a plateau or am I sabotaging myself?????
I really need a buddy or 2 to help with this journey.

Welcome. We are all here to help each other with this journey. I discovered this site a few weeks ago and it's really helped me. I don't know what I would do without this great support!
