I also work w/Paul at True Results Austin & can't wait to meet Dr. Esquivel. You are in good hands. Dr Esquivel is great and I can't say enough about Paul and True Results. Love them.
I strongly recommend coming to the support group. Paul runs them, we meet at 6:30 on the 4th Thursday of the month.
Good luck with your upcoming surgery.

No issues.
Warning.... several banders have blamed me for their new addition......

I am a completely different person. I don't stop, lol. I can't tell you how many times my husband has said you couldn't of done that before.
It is amazing how much energy I have now.

You are not an idiot!
We all get stuck at some point.
It's a hard lesson that we all go thru, lol.
Take care.

4ozs of plain or vanilla greek yogurt with a tablespoon of creamy Peanut Butter mixed in. Tastes like the middle of a Reese peanut butter cup.

My doctor says....
Bites no bigger than a dime or your pinky nail.
Chew until mush about 30 seconds depending on the food.
Minute between bites.
As for drinking sometimes my band makes me sip my Water and other times I can gulp. Depends on the day and how my band is feeling.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

Glad you are doing well with chewing as this is one of the hardest rules to stay on course with.... we get in a hurry or forget and boom our band tells us so. ...
Keep up the good work.

I eat salads a lot in the summer. Never had any problems with them. Just like all foods small bits and chew to mush.

Funny I just cut out a coupon for these last night. Gonna get them this weekend and try them.

It is unlikely that one stuck episode would cause the band to slip.
You are swollen and irritated from it so stay on liquids till you hear from your doctor. Small sips.
And relax, you will be fine. Your stress will make the band feel tighter. Relax!
Sorry you experienced this.

Congrats on the NSVs. You are right, having clothes that fit make you feel so good.

Oh you did it right, alright! You look amazing (except you cut off that beautiful smile).

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I'm hoping that I do shed a few pounds prior to the procedure. I do see that today is a lot easier than yesterday. I think I may trade in some shakes for bars. I think that maybe my issue that I only ordered shakes. No bars or Soups. I'm going to keep pushing. This is a lifestyle change so its one day at a time.Great attitude! Keep the big picture in mind. Before you know it you will be well on your way.
Good luck to you, you can do this.
