  2. I'll be honest, I slept through the whole procedure! The day of surgery was pretty rough. I was glad to have IV meds available. The secret was walking. Walking = feeling better. I would get half way down the hall, hiccup (ouch!) then burp and I was good to go. I didn't one night in the hospital. As soon as I was on liquids, my nausea subsided and by late that morning I was feeling ready to go home. Not a bad experience at all. Well worth the 40 lbs I've lost in 5 weeks! Get to start full foods next week, but I don't want to ever eat,"normal" again.
