My eyes are too big for my tummy!

I'm a little over 4 months out and have noticed myself doing this lately, too. I've been trying to get a grip on it and only put 3 oz of protein on my plate. I can usually eat it all, but not always. When I can't, it seems like I want to try to eat it and end up regretting it within a minute. I wish I could forget how to clean my plate, lol.

    December 2012 Sleevers

I'm down 56 pounds since surgery day (12/10/12) and down 98 from my highest weight, when I started this process, last summer.

    Ugh

I'm the same way and it seems like stress makes it worse...it also seems like it happens to a good many people on here and while I'm not a doctor, I would guess that it is a normal thing for us sleevers. One day, I'll eat two egg whites with a little shredded cheese and the next day, I'm full after less than half of one! It varies so greatly, it's crazy. I love my sleeve though, because before surgery...I could've eaten 4 whole eggs with cheese and bacon. :-/

    Sleeved December 2012?

I average 500-800. Usually in the lower range of that...

    Sleeved December 2012?

I've felt the same many times since my surgery on December 10, 2012. My surgery date weight was 235, my current weight is 180, so that's a total of 45 lbs lost post-op. I had a few weeks where my loss just stopped and I was so worried that I would be the only person whose weight loss stopped so soon...but, it picked back up after I upped my water and cut carbs back some more.
  6. Quaker mini rice cakes... Chobani 0% yogurts... Sensible Portions Ranch Veggie chips... I knew before I even tried the rice cakes and veggie chips that they would be sliders... I had been wanting something crunchy and they cured my craving for not many carbs. I've only had half a serving of either thing, but felt no restriction at all. I can eat a whole chobani yogurt in one sitting...not necessarily a bad thing, but something I didn't think I'd be able to do so soon out. Sorry for rambling, lol.
  7. This is a really great article, with some good tips .. Thanks for sharing!! )

    TUMS?

I don't know... I wouldn't think it would hurt anything, though. I know it doesn't help you right now, but I would ask your Dr at your next appointment, just to be on the safe side.

    When you stall...

I felt like that during the stall I just got out of.. everyone always asked and I just want to hide, whereas before the stall I would've smiled and told them. It's kind of embarrassing to me, it's like I'm failing, somehow.

    All of my December sleevers...

Highest weight: 277 First consult with Dr: 257 Surgery Day: 235 Current weight: 190 So, 45 lbs since surgery and 87 total since my weight loss journey started. My surgery was on December 10, 2012. I had a 2.5 week stall that finally ended a couple days ago and when looking at other people's stats, it seems like I'm doing alright. I know it isn't wise to compare, but it helps me feel a little better.

    TMI question

I just turned 27, but I have noticed this happening to me... I'm not complaining, though.
  12. I had the same indent and similar pain... When I asked my Dr about it, he said it was completely normal. I asked him about cool compresses or a heating pad. He said I could try it and if either thing helped, he could see no reason why I couldn't do them to help with the pain. The heating pad is what ended up helping...good luck and congrats on your surgery!

Dec 10th sleeves? How are you?

Just updating here... Have been stalled for the last two weeks or so and actually gained 5 pounds overnight... I'm now losing again! I had to lose the weight that I gained so suddenly and am now down to 192. Sooo happy that darn stall finally broke!

    post op diet

Idk if you are being given anything for nausea or not, but I was given Zofran religiously until my release from the hospital. My headaches went away when that medicine finally wore off. Apparently, it's a side effect...I didn't know, though and didn't actually connect the two until I took one the next day and got a horrible headache. That was just my experience, like I said, I don't know if you're on anything for that or not...just something to consider, if you are. Congrats on your surgery!
