My name is Jennie Pierce and like many people I"ve struggled with my weight all my life. I have never been small...NEVER I can remember getting weighed in 8th grade and my gym teacher telling me I weighed 180lbs. So that's what I've picked as my goal weight. My husband had the lap band surgery done a few years agon and has had some major problems with it. However my mother in law had it done and has had lots of success with it. So when my dr suggested I have the sleeve done I was a bit shocked. But after many hours researching it I believe it will be the best fit for me.

I suffer from Bipolar type II, PCOS, and diabeties which can't seem to get undercontrol. Not to mention trying to get pregnant through a fertility clinic with no sucess for the past 4 years. I've also suffered from MRSA five times which can only be controled by major IV meds (vanco).

Most of these problems have been a result of my weight. I've been told many of these can be "fixed" by losing weight, so basically this is my last resort. I've stayed pretty much the same weight since I was a freshman in High School within 15lbs so at least I've stayed the same (sort of).
