  1. I will try a restart and see if it crashes still. I can't recall the error message exactly...it did say the error was being reported? I will write down next time I'll try reinstalling if it continues after restart. The pm situation is its sending a few sentences not the entire message. No error message. I'll get back here and let you know if it continues...perhaps its my device and not the app. Thanks!!!
  2. Yes I think I'm getting better!! Thank you
  3. Yes I'm having the same problems on our pm's I'll try and get on my lap top tomorrow so we can talk!!!
  4. I agree!! Slider foods have no restriction so try your best to eat some protein first with each meal. I'm still learning!!
  5. I'm getting an error message and the app is crashing on my Android phone...should I reinstall?
  6. We are glad you are here!! You're doing great weightloss wise...just start measuring very small portions ie one chicken tamale should be the max you consume...I think if you go slower and take time between bites it will help. When you move to dense meats you will feel the restriction...but that's not til two months out so you have to train yourself to allow only enough for your sleeve. Are you drinking protein drinks and lots of water?
  7. There's a Kevin w. From here, perhaps its him?
  8. Nooooo!! Youre fine!!! Your so new and you just started soft foods...u haven't done anything detrimental...you just need guidelines to follow for your sleeve to work especially now.
  9. That is a lot...I would start measuring your portions...speak to your Dr. and get the guidelines. You don't want to hurt yourself. You are most likely still numb Just measure small portions. Breakfast- 1 egg Lunch - 2oz meat/ protein Dinner- 2oz protein/meat Snack- 1/3 cup greek yogurt Lots and lots of water and your protein shake through out the day.
  10. I understand kidney problems I just recently spent a week in the hospital and two different surgeries. My Dr. is telling me Water water water...I think only fellow sleevers can relate how hard that is! I really need to try harder! Keep us updated, take care
  11. I believe my plan allowed those things after week 8...slow and as tolerated
  12. Can you imagine the complications from walking around with that thing and constantly sucking food out of your stomache. I think food getting stuck is probably the least of the concerns they should have... Blah
  13. I'm glad they called!! Please keep us updated. I hope you will come here and share your journey with us. It's a nice place to come especially if you are feeling alone. The surgery produces a lot of emotions and tons of hormones, we all need support and some conversation through it all! Welcome to VST
  14. Yes, for so long. It's a hard battle because even when I lost some weight I couldn't keep it off. But I think this 6 months of learning healthy eatting and exercise etc is a great addition to being sleeved. The gastric sleeve does wonders for weight loss but after a while have to learn to stay healthy and maintain our goal weight. I understand your struggle...think positive, see what will work for you and learn as much as you can then if or when you are sleeved you will be ahead of the game!!! Best of luck!!
  15. You've paid the Dr lots of money for this surgery perhaps an after hour call is needed...I would inform him of your repeated attempts to reach his assistant during business hours. Acid is very serious in our sleeves and he will be aware of that...it can cause problems and ulcers...since its been a week with no return call I would suggest an after hour call. I know we all dislike doing that but it seems his office has left you no other choice
  16. Ohhhh that sounds good...I love Starbucks Mocha frappucinos! I'll give that recipe a try thanks
  17. It told me to have another cup lol
  18. Also go back to mincing your food in a blender and use a small fork or baby fork/spoon. Let several minutes pass inbetween each bite. This won't be forever but the first several months our stomaches are quite tender. I sure hope this helps some.
  19. I'm not a Dr so this advice is just from me as a friend...start taking prevacid in the morning and in the evening. Also try waiting 30 minutes no fluids before eatting. Who is your Dr. if you don't mind me asking?
  20. Best wishes and many prayers for you! Congrats )))
  21. Yes call again! That's not professional at all. You need this taken care of, we have to take care of our sleeves...its all we have left of our stomaches. I sure hope you get help soon!!
  22. Lmao...I thought hey kinda cool then I saw 99 dollars!!!! Whoa!
  23. Uh oh, I've been adding my protein drink to hot coffee for 6 months....yikes?
