  3. When I saw this thread I said 'thank God' I not alone. I too always had a problem but after surgery it escalated to where my job, family, and my life was seriously at risk. I was drinking at least two pints of vodka a day. I don't know how I was able to consume so much and I did this 6 months after surgery. I am seeking real help now im on some good medication to help with the urges and I go to groups. I learn that I can help others with my story and vise versa

I work out twice a week doing kick boxing for about 45-50 mins if my schedule allows it I would do another class but I am very intrigued to do hot yoga. Im not flexible at all. Has any one tried this please let's know how is it and ur overall results on ur body
  5. I love the sour cream cheese flavor!!!!
  6. Yeah I'm five months out and I can eat more I'm taking in about 1200-1400 cal a day but I'm trying to exercise more cuz I don't want to gain the weight back
  7. Don't worry I feel the same way. I started to snack more and have BREAD! What I do is I make sure I calculate every food intake and exercise. My exercise is so important to me now because when I exercise than having that piece of bread doesn't feel so bad
  8. It's probably thirst. I would drink a sugar free drink or snack on grapes or watermelon it helps a lot with the cravings
  9. I drink muscle milk light the powder so I can add a little strawberries or blueberries and I drink muscle milk the ready made shake. This is the only brand so far that I love. I can eat 3-4oz dense protein without problem but when I add starch it is not so good. I also work twice a week doing a kick boxing class for 45mins. I work 16hrs in a hospital on the other days and I am always on my feet. How is everyone handling their carbs. I treat myself once in a while so I don't over do it
  10. Hi, I'm almost 5 months out and I struggle with my protein intake. I take in around 60-80grams a day but I notice my cal intake is going up to almost 1100 a day. What r you guys taking in on average.
  11. I had my had my wls 4/30/12. I try to eat about 800-1000 caps a day. MFP helps me a lot to stay in control of my cals and protein. I am glad I am not the only one with that is a popcorn head. I love me some smartones white cheddar popcorn. My starting weight was 210lbs now I'm 174lbs I think I'm moving too slow.

  14. I had my vsg on 4/30/12. To date I lost only 32lbs. My start weight 210lbs and today 178lbs. I hear different stories with much bigger weight loss during a 3 mo. period. I feel like I doing somthing wrong. I joined MFP so I can keep a record of what I eat and how much. I am guilty of grazing a bit because I work 16hrs a day. Can anyone give me any advice. I am so frustrated. I also work two times a week and constantly on my feet a work.(I am in the nursing field)
