  1. I think I will be making a return trip to the hospital monday....I've been having serve pain on my left side now....it started all over' date=' but now its mainly around my left should on down the left side of my adomen...and then there are the fevers....between 100-103 for the last 4 days...have to take tylenol to break them through sweating them out....I dont have any issues eating my food, my problem is that most of the Protein around me right now is NASTY, and I'm not motivated to drink it....plus I dont have a motivation to eat anything period, not many food thoughts, but not hungry....

I really dont want to go back to the hospital...[/quote']

I really wish the best for you!! Please go in Monday. Not trying to scare you but those were the symptoms I was told to watch for in case of a leak.

  2. I had two c sections and just recently had my sleeve on June 7th. Honestly, the only major discomfort from the surgery I had was gas pains but I walked, walked, and walked some more. And , of course, lived on gas x strips. The recovery from the sleeve is much easier than a c-section. If you are askin which is easier it is SLEEVE by far!!! ;)

  3. I am going through what you are too! I had my sleeve on June 7th. I just started drinking high Protein ensure the creamy milk chocolate and it is helping me to get my protein in. The nausea has also stopped since I quit trying to eat solids and just concentrating on fluids and protein. I read on here that everyone's sleeve is different and got the idea of waiting a little longer before eating solids. Maybe you might want to give it a try too. :)

    Hope you feel better soon!!

  4. It's ok!!! Just pick yourself up and keep going!! I am the same way, as far as the head hunger. I didn't realize how much my head controlled my eating until having this surgery!! Good luck in the future. Maybe next time just try to eat the toppings off the pizza. That wouldn't be quite as bad, right??? ;)

  5. I hear ya!! I keep finding more and more information' date=' now I am looking at Dr.Garcia. I have read good things about Dr. Almanza the only consideration I have is the clinic vs hospital........

    Cheers

    Gail

PS hoping to be sleeved in June.[/quote']

Don't be worried about the facilities! I just had my sleeve done there on June 7th and am very pleased with the entire experience. I am also planning on going back for the mommy makeover. :)

  6. Thank you both so much! I'm sure I was most likely told this somewhere along the line' date=' but there was SO much info and instructions to take in that I was overwhelmed! Going to put the Protein powder and shakes away for now and concentrate on Water.....is Crystal Light ok, or should it be plain Water? By the way, you both look like you're doing a great job with your weight loss![/quote']

Special k makes a Protein powdered drink. Try that!!!

  7. Today I am 5 days post-op and it feels like I'm on cloud 9. ;) I am going through and reading all the threads and seeing such great ideas!! Last Monday I flew home to Texas. I miss my support system!! So I thought I'd join in here. :) The weather is REALLY affecting my recovery!! It seems when I get hot I get sick instantly. :/ I am going to add in more exercise as soon as I get these stitches healed to help speed things up. ;)
