  1. Everyone is scared going into this. Try not to worry so much. I'm sure you'll find somethings that you like and can tolerate with the band. Always take a multivitamin to help give your body what it needs. You'll be surprised at how your mind opens up to different foods once you've been without for so long. (aka-2weekliquid) I might be struggling now, but it will all be worth it in the end. Have a little faith sister!! Love ya!

  3. I can't seem to get rid of all the gas. That's the only thing that's driving me crazy. I did really good most of the day, but whenever I drink something it seems to get worse. Ugh....ready for it to be gone. I am getting hungry! My hubby cooked a really good meal tonight and I soooo wanted some, but I wasn't about to risk it. I think I'm getting hungry because I'm not drinking enough protein. I just haven't been able to stomach them like I could. It seems to leave a yucky taste in my mouth all the time. Trying to keep hydrated, but it's hard.

  11. The day is finally here...tomorrow is SURGERY DAY!! I have to be at the hospital by 9:30am. I'm a little nervous, but mostly sooo excited to be starting this new journey in my life. I know it's going to be tough, but I have this great community and supporting family and friends to help me. Please keep me and the other people getting banded tomorrow in your prayers!! Wish us luck!! :)

  16. Bite the bullet and step on the scale. What will it hurt. If you gained, then you know you need to buckle down a bit and start fresh. If not.....then I would say you did great on that trip!! Good Luck to ya!
