  1. Good morning post sleevers. My surgery was Mon 6-18 Hopefully i can go home today. Had to stay an extra day as I was having So much difficulty swallowing. Everything gave me chest pains. I've narrowed my intake to room temp liquids which are going Down nicely. It turns out I had gall bladder removed, and hiatal repaired as well oh and the sleeve. LOL HOPE ALL MY JUNE 18thers are doing well. Hurray for the pain pump.
  2. Get yours surgeon to write a note stating that in order to maintain the lifestyle you have set up for yourself you will need a small frig and microwave.

  5. Love this idea thanks for getting it together . I'm not a techy and I find this place very hard to navigate. Email me at bigcitychic4@aol.com. I'll be out of commission for a few days. Due to surgery. Wooooohooooo.
  6. Where in Dallas? I'm tomorrow as well at Baylor. I'm not sure why but I'm very calm today. I've done all my chores and to do's. About to watch movie with hub. Sipping chicken broth and waiting for ducolax to kick in. Good luck. remember tomorrow is "the first day of the rest of our lives."
  7. Took mine off Friday. Also had a pedicure Friday with no polish. Seemed. My toes are never unpainted. I told my manicurist I wanted all my nails to breathe.
  8. Thank you all for your encouragement! Just one more day of pre-op,
  9. Oh my I can't help you. It's not so much hunger but the flavor of food. My surgery is 6-18 and I cheated today. I can't believe I folded. Should have put my finger down my throat. My hub said it was no biggie. But I don't know. 1 piece of deli turkey, 1/4 cup cottage cheese. I haven't cheated since last week with the same food. No discipline guess that's why I'm the shape I'm in. Ready for this parade to begin.
  10. Great motivating post. You covered it all. It's wonderful that u found such a skilled and caring doc. you suggested that we go to your profile to see before pics. Can u tell me how to do that? My surgery is 6-18-12,
  11. Oh I feel your pain.....starving in Dallas too . I'm on bariatric advantage. Occasionally I have a celery stick or a spoon of cottage cheese. Surgery 6-18. Guess I better quit doing that. Think the every three hours is a good idea. Are you all counting broth as part of your liquid requirement or is it just water?
  12. Absolutely fabulous ! I pray for such success. Is that sipping broth & juice?
