  1. Are you hungry all the time or just able to consume a lot of food?? You might ask your doctor. I haven't been banded yet so I reading everyones experiences. Good luck with it. I'm really anxious to know how it will be. I've read that several have felt hungry that first month.
  2. It' sounds like you're doing great, you lost quite a lot before surgery. Let your body catch up. I'm sure you will lose a considerable amount. I haven't been banded yet, but it will be in April (I think). I go for all the pre-op stuff in the next two weeks. I'm really excited. Don't think about losing weight, just think about following the plan and let the weight take care of itself. It will. 1 plus 1 is 2, so follow the plan and you will get results. Blessings.
  3. Hi, I'm a new user. I am now about 265 pounds and am scheduled to go in for my first appointment with the Oregon Obesity Institute to get all my necessary pre-ops done before surgery. The surgery is not scheduled yet, but my insurance has approved it. I'm excited to read everyone's results. Some of you loose quickly and some not so quick. I wonder which way I will go. I've been battling with mononucleosis since December and hope this won't hinder an earlier surgery date. They actually whisked me in since the seminar was only last week and I'm already scheduled for all of my pre-ops. So that's it. I'll be anxiously reading some of the posts.:clap2:
