    Thank u trikki87 of matter if fact I got a wii fitness and started working on it last Monday. Due to colder weather haven't been able to get out and ride bikes or swim so now according to the wii I'm jogging 3 miles aday in 10 min and stair steps in 10 min of 1000 steps. Hopefully i'll start seeing both scale and tape start to drop. I don't want to say this is a woman's world cause I know there r men out there that has the band I guess I'm the only one that has questions or the only man that will ask questions

    Then I'd have thought u would want to help people since uve already been there and know how it is. I don't think 100 pounds In a year is to fast and as much as I work out I know it's not a quick fix. It just feels good to hear and know from somebody that's been there what to expect and how to beat it or get through it. I know when I'm where u r i'll be more than happy to help people get through what I've been through but thanks again

And before u have the chance to say go to mens room I have and all they have to talk about is their penis size during weight loss which I have no problem in that area. If u didnt want to say anything u shouldn't have responded

    Well Cheryl I have taken your advice I upped my cals from 600-800 cals to 800-1000 the question was simple. I just wanted to know if any one knew what a mans cals a day was. My dr said last time I saw him to eat as few cals a day as I could and not be Hungary which was 600-800. And because everyone has told me to raise cals I did but still not loosing much. So I thought I'd ask what a man should have to see if I raised them enough. Thanks for your input though

    Thank u both i'll try upping cals more. It's just really hard for me to get 1200 cals a day without eating several times a day and was trying to stay in the 3 meals a day only. The way I see it is anyone that has had the band and has had success with it for much time is a professional/ nutritionist. Most nutritionists never has been big and learn from books i feel hands on is better. The exact way that u may lose weight may not work the exact same for everyone but will be close. I just figured that's y we have this site is to share our success stories with people and may help them in their journey also

    For your information I live 3 hours away from my nutritionist so I can't just jump in car and go see her. As far as calling or emailing I'm still waiting on response from her and its been 3 weeks. That's y I ask your alls opinion on things and use what ever might work for me sorry its been such a bother to u all ill seek else where for advice thank u

    Would someone please answer my question. How many cals should a man be getting going into the 8th month of being banded. I burn around 800 cals in exercise and getting 90 to 100g of protein a day I'm not loosing weight from scale but on average an inch a week loss. Right now getting 800 to 1000 cals a day. Am I doing ok or could it be better. I've lost 50 pounds in this time. I was hoping to loose 100 in year

    I was wondering if u all could give me examples of your daily food intake and kinds of meals. I've only lost 50 pounds in 7 months. I think I'm eating right it's the same as when I was losing just smaller portions. I eat 900 to 1100 cals a day with 90g protein and burn 800ish cals aday. I am losing some in inches but only around an inch at three measure points and I'm a guy so I just figured I would have lost more by now. Am I asking to much or am I doing fine. Please respond thanks so much

    Just hang in there I lost 38 pounds in 3 months then for last 3 months I've only lost 12 and I even lowered cals and didn't move for 3 weeks so its slow but that's what u want is slow. Just keep moving in right direction and it will happen

    I just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays early. Everyone knows the holidays r kinda scary cause of all the fabulous food. Just try to make good choices of the kind of food u eat and be strong. Losing weight is hard work even for us banders and we r all here for u thank u all

    Hello my friends well the first big holiday Is almost here and I find myself not dreading it. If u all haven't seen yet I made it to my first goal from 320 to 270 and my next is 240. I haven't weighed 270 in about 9 years and WHEN I get to 240 that's only 20 pounds heavier than I weighed when I graduated high school yaaaaaa for me keep your heads up and plug through these holidays ???€

    I'm so frustrated for 2 months and two weeks have only lost 10 pounds after last fill. I was only eating 800 cals a day with 70g of Protein. Just two weeks ago upped my cals to 1100 and 100gs of protein and lost 5 pounds. Just don't feel like I'm loosing as fast as I should considering what all I'm eating which is buy the book any ideas

    I've noticed I'm not as Hungary when it's one of three main meals but it still seems like a lot of food daily. I was just eating three times aday and maybe I snack and meals where same size as now. I guess I'm just scared i'll gain with this much food

    Well Cheryl I started my week as u showed me. Ive ate oatmeal with 1/3 scoop protein powder for breakfast. I had Greek yogurt with 1 ounce pretzels for snack. 3 ounce pork chop and 1/2 cup cottage cheese. 1/2 cup raspberries and 1/4 cup blueberries for snack. And 3 oz grilled chicken 1/4 cup green beans for supper. IF I'm Hungary i'll have 1 string cheese for last snack Is that too many snacks and does that look good as a plan

    What r your fat,carb,sugar and protein intake daily. I eat shake for breakfast a cup of lentils for lunch and usually 3 ounce baked chicken with 1/2 cup of some veg. If I can't eat that much chicken then another shake after supper to get my protein in

    Well don't let me fool ya I wish the weight was gone yesterday, but I don't feel losing a pound or two a week is fast. And in 10 weeks of only losing 5 pounds is kinda devastating when u lost 39 pounds in 4 months. I guess losing is better than gaining I'm just truly and more than ready to be liter and healthier than I was and this damn cold weather doesn't help in the exercise area either.
