  1. Thought that it might be nice to have a place to post recipes and ideas for people at different stages of post op eating... I've enjoyed reading some of the meal plans on the accountability thread and thought this might be a helpful thread to start. And for starters, I will request, who has the recipe for chicken white chili?? sounds yummy!
  2. Yes, the full feeling is normal. It will subside. Drink warm liquids and walk too. Make sure you are not drinking too much or too fast because that seems to make it worse. I just concentrate on being happy that I'm not hungry!
  3. Where does all the gas come from? I know they blow up our abdomens during the surgery, but that went away, along with the shoulder pain that was totally excrutiating... Now, if I try to drink any of the allowed Clear Liquids, I feel like all that gas comes right back and my entire abdomen is about to explode. I can't even drink 4 oz of Water. 4 days post op and wondering if I made a big mistake
  4. I'm near bloomington and Dr. Sid did my band on 5/29/12. Struggling a lot, thinking i should be doing better than i am. Post op visit is 6/5 and I think I'll attend the support group meeting on Thursday. Nice to have found this site though and hear from others out there that have been there done it and i' not alone! thanks.
