  1. Vitamin water zero is my favorite! I get them by the case at Sam's.
  2. The only thing I really used was chap stick. Good luck!
  3. Keep your chin up. What you are feeling is normal. Everyday will get better. Give yourself a break. You just had major surgery. Sip rest and walk. Let your body heal and adjust. You are doing great!
  4. It would be convenient but I don't. They have way to many carbs for me. One of my go to lunches is subway. Mine allows me to get a kids sub without the meal. I dump the sandwich and eat it like a mini salad. It's perfect. I did get some of the Bariwise ready to eat meals to keep in my desk at work for emergencies. My favorite is the turkey chili.
  5. I pray you have a speedy recovery!
  6. Congrats! Everyday does get better and better. Keep up the good work
  7. Yep it can be. I had a lot of pain. Hang in there. Every day gets better. Take your pain meds and rest. I promise it gets better quickly!
  8. I have the bariatric advantage multi but bought Flintstones today. I can't always stomach the advantage ones. I was thinking about taking 1 advantage in the morning then the Flintstones at night. How many Flintstones are you supposed to take at once? I also take the bariatric advantage calcium in lemon and chocolate. They are both good. The lemon tastes like starburst.
  9. Congrats! That is a wonderful feeling. You want an added bonus. Combine that feeling with the happiness you feel when you think about not regaining it back. What a blessed journey we are on! Congrats again
  10. I didn't feel restriction until I started eating. Some during pureed but when I started soft I could really feel the restriction. Good luck!
  11. Try the Bariwise products from bariatric choice. They are like crystal light with protein. These were the easiest for me in the beginning. They are 60 calories with 15 grams of protein. They have a variety pack I started with. One difference is they aren't as potent as crystal light which is too strong for me and hurts my throat. They also have a great hot chocolate which was soothing.
  12. Good luck. You will do great!
  13. I did. Mine was an inch to the left of my belly button and about an inch or so up. My doc said it was muscular. Sometimes it made me gasp. Hope you get to feeling better!
  14. Also a slow loser here. 23 lbs at 6 weeks. I see a big decrease in BMI. I don't have numbers on me because they are at work. I just want steady and healthy. Good luck!
  15. I had this conversation with my doctor this week because before surgery 800mg ibuprofen was normal for me to take for autoimmune pain. He said from time to time was fine but my 800mg days were over. This will be something I will have to talk to rheumatologist about.
  16. Wow I'm so sorry for your complications. I pray that you will start getting better soon and won't have to go through any further procedures.
  17. I had more pain with mine. If you have a drain it can cause pain also. A lot of my pain got better once it was out. Contact your surgeon's office and let them know what's going on. It will ease your mind and make you feel better. Good luck. I hope it passes quickly!
  18. I agree. Go with the rest. Just going back to work is a lot of activity when you are healing. Cut yourself some slack. The rest will come!
  19. I'm so sorry you have had complications. My prayer for you is that you begin healing quickly and the rest of your journey will be smooth sailing. Best wishes!
  20. I was having the same problem and man you have never seen a grown woman throw such a fit! I also did the whole uninstall reinstall business. I would get frustrated put my phone down wait a minute then do it all over again followed by extreme temper tantrums. Then finally late last night I looked at my husband and said maybe someone is trying to tell me I'm spending too much time on my forum. Now tonight wow it works. Yay I'm not spending too much time here it was just technical difficulty. Happy happy dance!
  21. I also have that problem with the BA vitamins. I went to the doctor today and the NUT said it is because they are potent. I am going to take them as long as I can because they are the best for me (according to her). She did suggest taking the Flinstones for a few weeks and switching back. I hope this helps, good luck
  22. Congrats! Sip, walk, and rest! I'm glad your surgery went well. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  23. Soft food for me is fish, chicken thighs, turkey lunch meat, string cheese, mini baby bels and of course chicken and tuna salads. More chicken than tuna for me. I take the bariatric advantage calcium chews. The lemon tastes like a starburst and the chocolate is well chocolate. LOL Good luck and experiment.
