Protein Shakes
You "can" use milk. I don't personally advocate it because I don't believe our bodies are designed to consume milk. And we tend to have so much other dairy in our diets. I'd challenge you to find an alternative and develope some new tastes. I use unsweetened almond milk, I think it tastes great & is about the same price as milk. Plus it has way more Calcium than milk does. Also almond milk doesn't increase the estrogen levels in your body like soy does.

- Hey Guys I Have A Big ?
I started taking 1 tsp of KyoGreen daily when a really good friend of mine was diagnosed w/ colon cancer. The Dr. was not very optimistic, so he went to see a naturalist before going through invasive surgeries & chemotherapy. They put him on it and told him it would make his treatments more effective. A couple months later when he went for his final exam before surgery his cancer was gone. Barley grass & seaweed that is in it is tremendously benificial to our bodies. It tastes horrible, but mango does a great job of masking the taste.- Junk Food. Why?
- Eat And Drink?
I really don't know why nor do I follow the before part. But this will explain the during & after.- Junk Food. Why?
Remember, you are trying to change years, if not a lifetime of bad eating habits. The longer you go with good habits the more natural they will seem. What are you craving? Is it stuff like chips & chocolate, or more like pastas & breads?- Hello... Just Introducing Myself
Welcome aboard. You said you are self pay. Going to Mexico?- Telling Your Boss Your Having Surgery..
Is there anybody out there that is 2+ months post-op that chose to hide their surgery from coworkers? Please tell us how that worked out for you. I am of the opinion this surgery isn't something you can really hide successfully. And trying to hide it will only incite more speculation & gossip. Am I wrong? Are people really that oblivious to others around them?- Going To The Toilet...?
- 25Yrs Old, Heartfailure Case Getting Sleeved In 1 1/2 Days!
Welcome. Do you have an idea how long you can go before you absolutely need a new heart? You definitely have every reason to really work this tool for the maximum benefit. So given enough time I have no doubt you will be hugely successful.- Bipass Or Sleeve - Now I’M Confused
There are documented cases of the "sleeve" being performed as far back as as the 1970's. And many references to it being in existance as far back as the 1950's. The "sleeve" as we know it was originally used as a weight loss procedure in very high BMI cases, when the patient was deemed to be too high risk for a full bypass(RNY). The surgeon would remove the pliable portion of the stomach rather than fashioning a "pouch" because this could be done without having suture lines at the esophagus & the intestine thus reducing the chance for complication. This was all performed with full intent of simply getting the patient down to an acceptable weight to go back in & complete the bypass procedure. However it was not uncommon for the patients to experience significant weight loss & opt to not return & complete the procedure, hence having a sleeve procedure, though not called this at the time. Since there is no formal documentation before the 1970's I don't lend much credence to that time period. Though I am lead to believe the earlier cases we're a result of stomach stapling gone wrong.- Had My Sleep Study Last Night...
Does your cpap not have a humidifier? If not talk to your doc. I consider it a must- One Year, 118.5Lbs (Pics). Advice For Year Two?
Kara, all I can say is WoW, you look great. But then again I always have been partial to redheads . I wish I could help you more on the skin surgery thing, but what I do know is that you still have about a year left that your skin will be activly shrinking. That might give it a chance for the skin to catch up a bit. Keep up the good work.- Thoughts On Unjury?

- Any Protein Bars Worth Trying?
Well, my research on the Quest line looks very promisining. I just ordered 2 sample packs. 1 original line, 1 all natural line. I really like that they have used stevia into their all natural line. Now I'm just hoping they taste nearly as good as they sound.- Any Protein Bars Worth Trying?
- How To Break A Stall?
Yup, what Fiddlerman said. My 6.5 week stall just broke. I was stuck at 205-210 for 6.5 weeks then BAM!!!! I went from 207 to 198 in just a few days. Just keep the faith and keep following the program, it will end when it is ready.- Got A Question For Those Who Got Ther Sleeves Done...
Six weeks is pretty standard. I was throwing 100lb boxes of beef @ 10weeks.- Wanting To Make My Own Protien Shakes
I can't remember who it was, but someone thinned out Greek yogurt to a drinkable consistency. That would be good and you could flavor it with torani sf syrups.- Major Complications !?!?
