  1. I'm all over. I stop at least once a day at a pilot. It would be pretty cool to run into each other. I have a couple in the find a friend app set up so that if we are in the same area it sends me a push notice.
  2. I'm not speaking for Iggy, but I believe her comment was more based on the OP's statement "I couldn't make it through a milestone like that without". I took it as a bit of an exaggeration, but if taken literally it could definately indicate a problem. Also, I know Iggy doesn't have a problem with controlled alchohol use. She has posted many times about loving her wine.
  3. Itll be my century club gift to myself. But I'm doing it so all you ladies have a place to practice. I figured I could save y'all some money.
  4. Install a stripper pole, and invite all the ladies over for free practice.
  5. That is a net carb count. So you'd need to know the net carb count on fruits.
  6. I seem to be a bit lost here. Would you mind showing what it is you are referring to?
  7. I'm with you 100% Laura. Exactly why I recommended downgrading cars. I'd rather be thin driving a $2500 hoopty than obese driving 10-15k car. And being debt free just makes it all the better
  8. Sounds like you might have a pretty nice car, have you considered selling it and getting something minimal for a while so you can get the surgery sooner?
  9. It's not a cook book, or even specificly about food, but I think everybody should read the book "QBQ" (question behind the question).
  10. The sun won't kill you either if you don't obsessively overdo it. As a matter of fact tanning in moderation has proven to have numerous health benefits to include being the best source of Vitamin D, it reduces symptoms of depression, and releases endorphins into your body that studies have proven to have positive effects on individuals moods. I prefer sunlight to tanning beds, but in moderation both are fine. You need to understand that tanning beds deliver more concentrated rays, so 3-5 minutes in the begining is all you need. But just like all good things, people take them to extremes & they become the tragedies you hear about on the news. (and those stretch marks I'm betting are from bearing children, which BTW, women have died from)
  11. Best place I've found to get chia (if you are willing to buy 9lbs at a time) is azchia.com. It's about $60 for 9lbs of chia delivered. http://azchia.com/sales/p105/1.5-lb-black-chia-seed-($7.50-/lb)-also-in-3,-6,-bag-options/product_info.html
  12. To respond to a thread on iPad tap the icon in the top right of the screen and a menu will appear. To quote a post or edit your own post tap the down arrow that is above hat post and to the far right, another menu will appear.
  13. I shaved my head because my hair was growing too fast. And my fingernails are doing the same. But then I've been doing 100-160g per day of protein.
  14. Well, as odd as it may sound I am a truck driver. But in my youth I was a health freak & extremely athletic. I prettymuch let my health go chasing money. Currently I'm looking into becoming a nutritionist. You've definitely been through a lot. I don't know if I could function if I lost one of my babies. The fact that you have come this far says a lot. I'm going to put together a few ideas that I think might work for you. I'm sure we'll be going outside of your traditional comfort zone, but I believe we can figure it out.
  15. If you want a tan, get one. Don't worry about a few scars. A sexy body is still sexy even with a few imperfections.
  16. I think its great that she is seriously looking into this. Not only for her, but because this means your child(ren) won't be adopting your(mine) unhealthy views of food.
  17. I'd recommend ordering a sample pack from Unjury. It comes with2 servings of each flavor. I love their chocolate splendor, & chicken soup. I was using their unflavored till Cheri(clk) introduced me to Nectar's medical unflavored.
  18. Makayla, where are you from? How far post op are you? What did you eat pre op? I hope you live in an area I travel regularly, I'd love to work with someone like you a bit and test my ability to get your protein requirements met.
  19. Actually I've found pre planning your food for the day is the best way to go. Make a daily meal plan & stick to it. Then you are not grabbing stuff because of a craving or hunger which will cause you to eat off plan faster than anything else.
  20. Have you tried the spinich artichoke one yet? It's heavenly.
  21. I wish I could say that. I just know if I started with frieds again I'd be living at Popeyes & back to 300lbs. And that's not an option.
