  1. I'm not jumping on the hate bandwagon and taking potshots at you. However, I think it's the amount of naked shots you post. I know you're proud of your accomplishments but some might find it a bit much.
  2. My wife has being buying all of these trendy clothes for me. She said she like the attention I get when we're out. Of course I don't notice women looking at me. I also find it amusing since I still have at least 40lbs to goal.
  3. I weigh once a week. I tried the multiple times a day and promptly stopped. I wasn't doing myself any by doing that. I don't cheat so my weight has being down with the exception of an occasional stall.
  4. Can they stop you from taking a new picture based on weight alone? Seems like that borders on illegal. I'm sure you can't have a 400 person say they weigh 125, but gosh!
  5. Keep up the good work.
  6. Can you opt out of providing your weight or is it a requirement? I would put down 20lbs less than the current weight to allow for additional loss. Or in other words, I would probably lie. I'm sure the DMV inspector expects everyone to lie and thinks who is this person kidding.
  7. Do you find it helpful to weigh yourself that much? Doesn't make you crazy? I find that doing that makes a person neurotic. I weigh myself once a week at most. Keeps things in perspective. My weight is going to change with food, Water, and intensity of my workout.
  8. What an accomplishment. Congrats to you.
  9. Congrats to you. Keep up the good work.
  10. Congrats to you. Keep up the good work.
  11. He was an idiot. There is nothing wrong with your picture. You were and are still good looking. I see why your husband was ready to do some damage.
  12. I am down 88lbs since being sleeved on 2/19.
  13. Congrats to you. I look forward to joining that club someday soon.
  14. I used the time I spent waiting for approval (18months and 2 denials) to work out my issues with food. My wife and I have traveled extensively around the word and eaten at Michelin starred restaurants and ate meals from some of the best chefs in he world. So, I am well aware of the sleeve being a tool and advocate for more than the one required therapy visit to work out your respective food issues.
  15. I read the Al Roker book and he said he keeps his old ID as a reminder of where he was. I'm not sure what I am going to do yet. How about you?
  16. I only told my immediate family and no one else. My medical history other than my neurosurgery is my business. I had one family member remark about my weight loss and stated before I could say anything, that she knew people who had surgery and are now gaining their weight back. She said all of this before I got out a word as I was getting dinner at a family affair. She made a comment about how little I had on my plate and that she's a big girl and that was her snack portion. No wonder she weighed at least 325 and went on to say she loves food too much to have surgery. Sometimes a smile from you and someone with a big mouth will save you from saying anything at all. Btw- she talked so much I never had to answer the question and went back to the table with my wife to eat. Good luck to you.
