  1. My surgeon advised 2 weeks and a 10 lb weight limit. As a dialysis nurse that was going to be tough so I am scheduled to be off 3 weeks. This is a major life changing event and should be treated as such. Hopefully by the time I go back to work I will be on solids and able to handle them. I think waiting may be your best option for success. I was banded on 5/23 and am doing fine (except the gas). It is tough to get the Water and Protein drinks in and I haven't managed to achieve that goal yet. I feel waterlogged...
  2. I had my surgery 5/23 and I am not thirsty/hungry just blah! I am to stay on liquids until day 7 then to soft mushy proteins ie: fish, chicken, eggs...
  3. My surgery is tomorrow and I am loving the list. A little nervous, although more excited...
