Wow nenaLinda! That is amazing! that just amazes me how much people are losing! I hope you reach your goal soon!
I have learned so much in the past 6 weeks. I have quickly noticed I can sabotage my weightloss with cheesecake!!!! And other soft sweet treats! As soon as I cut them out mentally the downward journey began. I am über excited with progress thus far!

I'm about 5 weeks out and have fallen into temptation! I too can eat nearly a whole slice no crust in about twenty min. I feel horrible bc I know it's not in the diet plan but I feel so dam deprived and it didn't hurt to eat it

Can't wait to hear some answers. I'm about 4wks post op and have just wanted sangria but avoided it bc of high sugar content.

I am 4 weeks out of surgery...and I have also hit a stall. At three weeks out of surgery, I had lost 29 pounds...and now nothing, for about a week. It actually has me very worried, that I'm not doing something correctly. I'm sorry to hear of all of you having a stall also, but it really helps me knowing that I am not alone in this. For the people that have had stalls before...how long did your stall usually last? Just curious. This is a great forum.
Nearly a week and no loss and no loss of inches... Is my body used to this amount of food?

I'm officially a slow loser...

I'm 2 weeks out and lost a rapid 20lbs and I'm at a stall!!! So I'm ok for now... It's been 3 days and no drop but I know their is no way this eating 500 calories a day will not equal weightloss. It just can't be mathematically correct... So I'm being patient.

I did that for a while, then ran out of steam. I nearly OD'd on soda and beer! But the foods you love... you aren't saying goodbye to them forever, just temporarily. Keep that in mind. And that you'll have to lose every pound you gain now!
You never regret eating healthy, you always regret eating unhealthy. I actually ate better before surgery to get my mind right. Salads and more salads. The weight will still take effort to come off and you will think back had I been this weight the day of surgery I would be this weight post op had I not went od.

CBT' date=' I was fortunate enough not to have nausea at all. Didn't throw up once, so I'm very happy about that. I'm a week out from surgery. Everybody is different, so maybe you won't have nausea. happy recovery to all.[/quote']Glad you're doing well! I'm 12 days out and I got random nausea after I ate... No more of that because I can tell when I am starting to get full so it's just some new learning of our new tummies.

Our bodies adjust to what we are now eating and it will continue to drop if you continue the proper food stages from your surgeon.

Wishing you a speedy recovery! Can't wait to be on the losers bench with you!
I'm almost ready for submission to ins. My surgeon has a surgeons fee of $500 due the week before surgery. I called admissions at the hospital today to see what I would need and she gave me an estimation. My deductible is $200 my copay is $250 and my out of pocket is $1500. My ins covers 90/10 and they would like you to pay half of your 10% which for me she said would be around $570 with a whopping total of around $870. She said they know that's a lot and if you can't pay you can set up payment arrangements once you receive your EOB. But not being able to pay would not stop your surgery.
It's amazing all the in/outs of insurance comps and the charges vs the payouts etc..... It's also funny how so many of us have the same insurance yet it differs so greatly.
I wasn't offered a payment plan at the hospital, I sure wish I was offered that because the $2k+ was a chunky amount I didn't have just lying around but it's done and hope I don't get more bills...

I had surgery July 5th and if I see food it comes to mind I wish I could have it but I know I can't. Plus honestly I'm not even hungry. chicken broth is so soothing to eat and goes down so nice and warm I am shocked you have the want to eat/hunger. We need to pay attention to our stomach not our brains we can get thru this

If ur like me sleep will be hard to find tonight! I'm day 5 of my surgery and recovering nicely. You will be great once it's done and over with

IM on day 5 post OP and finding it hard to get my liquids in! I also barely have the desire for anything! This is tough. I know many of us wish we weren't hungry but not being hungry and not eating is not healthy that's for sure but IM trying hard to push down some liquids.
