  1. Thank you Defying Gravity for the info, a good read for us all.
  2. I've been told from my NUT no fried foods not to mention we want to eat healthier than pre-surgery. Perhaps baked?? Not sure how much nutritional value is in fries? Good luck
  3. They do have SF pistachio pudding so that works! I've absolutely loved that treat!
  4. I did the same going from liquids to the next stage, reverted back to shakes also. It does get easier, just try some other dishes perhaps? I did creamy soups and puréed chicken ( in a can) with some gravy & mashed potatoes. The qty is so small I'm still amazed! I'm now on soft foods and found Wendy's chili to be the BOMB!! Had salmon quesadillas yesterday but the tortilla was a bit much so I just are the salmon/cheese mixture with some cobani yogurt. Keep up the good work!
  5. I've been chowing on the cottage cheese mousse! Cottage cheese (low fat) Lime SF jello ( small box) Cool whip (low fat) YUMMY!!!!!!!!!
  6. Deez has my vote as well!! Happy healing:)
  7. Good for you!! I'm post-op 3 weeks and feel great!!! Keep us posted on your recovery. Remember: walk, walk, walk!
  8. I love PB2 use it in my shakes almost everyday:) I've found it at Walmart if you don't want to buy online.
  9. Thanks all! I'm suppose to get in 50 GMS a day right now and after my shake (26gm), I'm having difficulty finding anything I can consume at once to boost that. In the creamy stage until Thursday. Really not hungry (I guess that's the upside to our surgery yes?). Merry Christmas all!!!
  10. I'm 3 weeks post-op today just wondering everyone's thoughts on a teaspoon of peanut butter? Thank you
  11. WOW great pics, super results! Way to go fellow sleevers:)
  12. Riberty, I will be 3 weeks out tomorrow (Monday), will take your suggestion and give it another try someday. Not a huge fan of eggs but that was scary..I think your right, too dry. Yesterday had a small (1oz) of deli turkey smeared with cream cheese..ate micro bites and that was fine. Refried beans with a smidge of cheese was good and always love broccoli cheese soup 98% fat free.
  13. I sleep with a bottle of water next to my bed, most nights I wake up and end up sipping 1/2 the bottle! What's up with that? I'm getting in about 70oz a day!! Eggs were not good for me at all...horrible pain than I lost them. Not going there for a lonnngggggg time!
  14. Yes it's ketosis, I had it too ( still do some days). My NUT said SF mints and SF gum was alright. Listerine breathe strips work too.
  15. I'm sorry your so down, but I agree with everyone; we all go through stalls. Keep your chin up, a bottle of water in your hand and a smile on your face. The pounds will come off, give it some time kiddo! Sending lots of hugs too:)
  16. Way to go Mary my surgery date buddy!! Keep up the good work
  17. I think I may have pushed it time wise (hard to adjust for sure), need to modify my bites and stop when that feeling comes. This is a huge learning curve for certain! Thank you so much for your advice I really appreciate it! Do you think mashed potatoes is a good idea? I'm sorta scared to try anything right now.
  18. Egg not good...couldn't keep it down! WTH?
  19. I had an egg for the first time and lost it! Back to shakes for me, maybe I need more healing time before moving on? First time I've been sick. Day 17
  20. Thank you for sharing...it was awful! I've not had any trouble at all and was looking forward to having something other than liquids than I throw it back up. Getting sick is a whole lot different than it use to be that's for sure. Trying some mashed potatoes in awhile hoping I can tolerate those? If not, back to shakes. Thank you again!
  21. I'm day 17 had a scrambled egg w/ cheese today and lost it! Went back to shake. Bought some Bob Evans mashed potatoes going to try a small amount later ? First time I've been sick with my sleeve.
