  1. Blondiee: I have a shake almost every morning as well (Sleeved Dec 2, 2013)...can you share your Cookies & Cream recipe? I use
  2. According to my stylist, mine is thinning..I was sleeved Dec 2, 2013. I DO take oral biotin am/pm with hopes of having healthier hair when I reach goal.
  3. Feeling good! Sleeved 12/2/13 .. Just returned from a lovely vacation in Boca Grande..walked everyday and did NOT gain a pound, in fact lost one so I'm pretty happy. HW: 253 CW: 193 Keep pushing on fellow sleevers!
  4. I LOVE Unjury vanilla or chocolate. I add PB2 and some protein powder, 2% milk & ice and enjoy! Still drinking them and I'm 4 months out...I really like them. I've found that when I start the day with a shake, I'm more likely to get in all my protein for the day...and it's so convenient.
  5. Had my first glass of wine this week...not bad and it did make me feel a little tipsy! Have a Seabreeze also (on vacation)...loved that drink!
  6. Mine are sagging pretty bad...I'm afraid their going to reach my naval soon..LOL, no joke! However, wouldn't change a thing!!
  7. Mine are heading south...starting to look like tube socks!
  8. Beef sticks, string cheese (7gm), almonds, Adkins protein shake (yummy)
  9. Jamie you & I were sleeved on the same day... How are you doing?
  10. Way to go Gomecast!!! Your rocking the sleeve! When was your surgery?
  11. So sorry your having problems. Praying for a speedy recovery for you..hang in there!
  12. Thank you all!! I would be happy at 150lbs however I have heard that I may bounce down a little lower?? I am sure everyone is different. You are right, there is something so liberating at being below 200 lbs!! Let's keep up the good work fellow sleevers! Cheers to all
  13. YEEHAW!!!!! I'm proud to announce that I've reached Onederland today!! I can't remember the last time my scale read 198.2!! I feel like opening the patio door and announcing it to the WORLD! Thank you all for your continued support & great advice! Surgery: 12-2-13 HW 253 SW 243 CW 198.2
  14. HW 253 SW 243 CW 200 Onederland is taunting me for the past three days..ugh! Went from size 18 to a size 16 to a size 14 which is getting loose so suppose I'm losing inches! Working out 4-5 days a week and feeling GRRREAT!
  15. At least your not knee deep in snow! I'm in Michigan and it's been a HORRIBLE winter...ugh! Heading to Florida soon for a week, cannot wait. How long ago did you have surgery? Doing well?
  16. Thank you Capecoralmom...wasn't sure. So just curious, you live in Cape Coral? We visited there a couple of years ago and loved it!!
  17. Best decision I've ever made my ONLY regret is that I didn't do it sooner!!! Some tips: sip, sip, sip! Walk, Walk, Walk! When cleared, buy yourself a membership to a gym and go. Good luck & keep us posted!
  18. I was wondering the same thing, thought I was coming down with a cold and wasn't sure what to take since some OTC meds can hurt our sleeve...been drinking lots of fluids and getting plenty of rest. Of course it happens on a weekend when no one is in their office. I was told awhile ago Tylenol is ok to use but not sure about anything else? Hope you feel better soon!
  19. I'm 3 months post-op and haven't noticed any loss (yet)..I too have fine hair and started taking Biotin right after surgery as directed by my NUT...I take 10,000 a day: 1 tablet AM - 1 tablet PM....I PRAY I don't see loss but after reading everyone's post I fear it's inevitable
  20. I started taking Biotin (the dissolvable kind), the moment they cleared me for all my vitamins: 10,000 a day ( 1 in the morning in the evening). I am 3 months out. Keeping my fingers crossed. Protein plays a HUGE roll!
  21. Sleeve all the way baby!!! Foreign objects can lead to troubles long term .. Just my opinion.
  22. Way to go!!! Isn't this great??? Congrats and keep up the good work
