OK it is official...Dec 11th for me..7am ..all day testing on Nov 20th..not looking forward to drinking that barium but at this point, will do whatever is necessary. LOVE our thread, a BIG thank-you to Atlanta Red!

This is an awesome post, thank you very much! Can anyone tell me how awful was the upper gi test (where you drink the barium?). I have that on the 20th of Nov and am more nervous over that than the surgery! Thank you in advance

Welcome SueRN....I beleive we will ALL feel better once this procedure is finished. All my testing is being done on one day, Upper GI, Ultrasound, EKG, Labs, PT. Waiting on office nurse to call me on time specifics. Come on December!

I am Pre-Op and been on the Flinestones for 3-4 weeks now...not terrible but not the best either...Do they come in any other flavor?

I love your post! I've yet to be sleeved looking at Dec 11th...your an inspiration to us all and we really appreciate your willingness to share your story. We all will continue to support one another! Keep up the great work! Your gorgeous!

I was told to take chewable Flintstones vitamins with iron...been on them for about 3 weeks now. Liked the gummies but they lack iron.

I don't have crohns and have not been sleeved yet (Dec), however my dear friend has Crohns and was sleeved 1.5 years ago and has NO issues at all!! Now we know it's not the cure for Crohns but something with this surgery helps...diet perhaps?

Atlantared, your EGD is soon? That's what makes me nervous...the thought if drinking that barium makes me gag already!!! Let me know how it goes.

Just saw surgeon today and it looks like Dec 11th for me!! I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am! Testing all day on Nov 21st...EGD, Ultrasound, bloodwork, PT..and tips on that? How's the EGD anyone have one? YAY for us!!!

This is terrific news! Congratulations on your progress so far. Meeting with my surgeon Tuesday in hopes to schedule a Dec surgery. Starting to have dreams about it already (wondering if anyone else has). Glad to hear your not having any discomfort or the side effects many speak of! Keep us posted...YAY!

Looking forward to meeting with my surgeon next Tuesday, will hopefully have a date afterwards. Meet with NUT for a final visit in Nov...come on Dec! Haven't purchased anything except the Flinestone Vitamens (been taking those daily)...any thoughts on shakes? Thanks all...we are almost there! YAY!
