3 weeks post op.

Well I did it. I had my vertical sleeve surgery! No pain, very little discomfort other than the J tube and as soon as my doc removed it even that discomfort ended. I was preparing myself for tons of pain and the fear of throwing up and I am happy to say I had none. No pain meds after I was discharged from the hospital.

I was really nervous for my 2 week post op appointment I didnt know what to expect. But to my surprise I had lost 21% of my excess body weight already. I am hopeful for the near future.

This is terrific news! Congratulations on your progress so far. Meeting with my surgeon Tuesday in hopes to schedule a Dec surgery. Starting to have dreams about it already (wondering if anyone else has).

Glad to hear your not having any discomfort or the side effects many speak of!

Keep us posted...YAY!
