Now I Know What Stuck Feels Like!
Ty for posting this tmf. Professor O'Brien in those videos is my surgeon. He explained that when drinking with your meals you eat your food wait that minute or two for it to pass through your band then you may sip your drink. I've drunk Water with every meal this way and I have still managed to loose over 50 pounds in two months and with no problems hitting satiety after 15 to 20 minutes of eating. It's important to remember chew, swallow wait a minute and if you do that when you drink it does not wash your food through as the food has already passed through the band to trigger the responses to the brain.

Aldi Protein Shakes
Ty for the info, I'll go look for them tomorrow as I can't stand to even look at the optifast without gagging.

Does Everyone Still Take All Thier Vitamins?
Yes I take my vitamins every day, I take the Swiss multi vitamin capsules, biotin and an iron tablet as I find when my food intake is restricted and loose a large amount of weight I become anaemic after a few months. We need to take our vitamins for life now.

Normal?
Randii I'll put my hand up, I did it a couple of times on my mushie stage, I remember being so hungry I just wanted something more solid to chew on. I did it with chicken twice. Hang in there you'll be on solids soon, the liquid stage is hard especially if you had to do it for a few weeks before surgery too.

Going To My First Appointment.
You'll find, hopefully, they will ask you lots of questions about how you are going, how much you're eating, what sorts of foods etc. they will weigh you and ask if you have any questions. Ask anything you're not sure off. Each time I go for a fill my doctor spends the first 20 mins or so talking to be, reinforcing the rules etc. I ask a lot of questions and I write them down so I don't forget.

Keep Fussing And I Will Keep Posting!!! Love Ya!!!
I love your positive attitude and your bubbly nature. Keep being who you are and if people don't like it they can move on simple. I don't agree with everything I see posted online be it in this forums or other forums but as I see it we are all entitled to feel and believe in what we do or don't. I was raised a catholic but I'm not a practicing catholic. Maybe I just haven't found my connection with God but because you have I'm not going to put you down for your beliefs. People just remember we are all individuals with the right to our own beliefs and even if you don't agree with others and feel the urge to voice your opinions there is a polite and mature way to do it.

Am I Too Tight?
As the others said you may need a slight unfill. Mornings we are usually tighter because of Fluid settling around our bands overnight while we sleep and as it drains away the band becomes looser. You were probably fine over the weekend because all the fluid hadn't made it the the band area. Now that it has you're feeling much tighter. I queried this today with my doctor when I went in for my fill this morning as I've noticed the same pattern after a fill, not much difference for a few days then a big difference. Also with each fill it's taking even smaller bites of food. Hope you get it sorted out quickly.

First Fill
As a precaution do liquids and mushies, in a few days that feeling will pass. I had that same feeling with my second fill and it settled within 24 hours.

Soooo Nervous!
Doesn't hurt only a tiny sting when needle goes in and it's done in a minute. So just relax and you will be fine.

Chest Tightness, Palpitations And Ignoramus Drs!
Elcee just had a thought, could your symptoms be a side effect from the tablets, an ingredient in the tablet? Reason why this came to mind is because my mum has had problems with new medications causing all sorts of side effects. Maybe something to look into. Hope you get it sorted out quickly.

Guilty Feelings :(
I have had those thoughts too, even now two months post op I'm scared of food and regaining. That fear of regaining makes me make the right choices everyday. I don't ever want to go back to where I started. So yes your guilt/fear, whatever you want to call it is normal. As others have said even though you follow your instructions to a t there will be fluctuations and that's ok as eventually the numbers on the scales will go down. Best of luck to you on this journey!

Want Your Opinion
- Body Fat Calculation
I don't understand how those scales can work out how much fat and how much muscle your body carries.- Sugar Cravings
My nutritionist allows a treat a day if needed or I can bank them up and have a bigger treat at the end of the week, of course provided you do the right thing with your food intake. Don't think I'd be able to manage a bigger treat after eating my protein and vegetables but in saying that from time to time I do crave chocolate, something I will never give up so I have what I'm craving but only a small amount and I'm fine. I don't count calories as I've been taught by my nutritionist to work with portion sizes and healthy choices which I find so much easier than calorie counting. Some weeks I've had a small Turkish delight a few times a week and it hasn't hurt my weightloss to date.- Do U Have To Wait 4 Wks Between Fills
My fills are every two weeks, I've had three already since 2nd July which was my op date. But then I may be getting smaller fills every two weeks than if I went once a month. My largest fill was .8ml then .5ml then .7ml and I already had 4.2mls in my band which was put in at day of surgery. - Body Fat Calculation
