  3. Congrats to you!!!! You deserve to feel proud, it's a daily challenge to think long term and make good choices for our "new" bodies.. Keep tooting your own horn, those that love you will understand and cheer you along. I am subjecting my friends and family to the same thing, lol, I wonder at what point I will have to tone it down, Good luck on your journey, Dalton

  12. Hi! I worry about things too, so completely understand. I was dreading the pre-op, just knew i couldn't do it. I have seen that Dr.'s all have different kinds of pre-op diets, so you will need to get your Dr.'s clearly explained. I email them all the time begging to have something forbidden, like tomato soup! lol I do not know if HG is considered a condition linked to our weight or not, sorry. I know i do well if i avoid lots of carbs. I would ask your Dr. Let me know when you start if you need a cheerleader!

  15. I am on day 5 of my 2 week liquid diet. It has not been fun, BUT it can be done. Drink a lot of atkins shakes (i do 3 a day) that helps fill you up, and a lot of liquids you like ( all SF) and of course broth. I am prone to low sugar too, it seems to regulate if you take in something regularly, and i drink a lot!! Good luck, it' worth hanging in there, I am down 8.5 lbs in 4 days.
  16. Thanks Carol, I figured it out,
  17. I can't see where to find help with this, so please excuse me asking here, but how do include a ticker on my posts? Thanks for any help!
  18. One more question, why no diet sodas? Thanks!!
  19. He is only letting me have liquid: atkin's shakes, broths and jello. What all are you allowed to eat/drink? They also told me no wine, that just made me cry, lol. Thanks for responding!!
  20. Good Luck with your surgery Gene! I am scheduled for June 4th, so I start my 2 week pre op diet Monday. So worried i won't be able to stick to it, I know i have to, but i'm worried about headaches and being a bi*ch at work.
