  1. I am 7 weeks post-op and am having pain on the lower left side of my abdomen, about 2 ins below my rib cage. At first my surgeon's PA said it "sounded like an ovary". I explained to her that I've never had an issue with an ovary. Then she said it was probably a hematoma that would heal. However, that was 4 weeks ago. How fast does a hematoma heal? And, does this really sound like a hematoma? On a scale of 1 to 10, my pain level is probably a 3-4. Not intense, but really bothersome and nothing I'm ready to live the rest of my life with. Any thoughts?
