  1. Thanks! How did you get that ticker added to your profile?
  2. I was sucking on cheese a few days after surgery! I needed something more! I agree, your body will tell you when you need to add more. On a different note, can someone tell me how to add the LapBandTalk.com Body Weight Ticker? I can't see to figure it out! Thanks!
  3. Welcome! I had my surgery 5/10 and first fill 6/7.....I have a 10 cc band and got a 2cc fill. Think I may need to go to 2.5 or 3....but we will see. Down 14 pounds since surgery and feeling good. It's nice when clothes start feeling looser!
  4. It is a great tool! Keep us posted!
  5. You will be fine and not die! I think it is the emotions of letting go of the past and when surgery is really happening it hits us in the face. There may be some hard times, but it is no worth it. And, you know your body and what it can handle. I've been able to eat anything I wanted to after surgery (I think getting rid of hiatal hernia changed my life with no more pain!) and am still losing. Keep us posted and don't be scared. This is a very easy surgery with great results.
  6. As stated, it is a tool! I've been banded since 5/10, first fill 6/7....down 14 pounds....walking, swimming and feeling great. Hang in there and see someone else!
  7. Not sure how much juice you can have, but I really like naked juice protien juice. Very filling.
  8. I did and have continued to put vanilla protein powder in my morning coffee. That way get my caffeine and protein all in one shot! If you get the flavorless type you can add it to various juices or broths which helps. You can do it!
  9. I've gotten back to swimming a 1/2 mile at the gym. It is a great work out and when I don't swim I try to walk or work my arm with weights....I think it is now time that I can start working my "core."
  10. I know this isn't on topic, but last week (had surgery 5/10 and 2 cc fill 6/7) had cramps, water weight gain and a little "mini" period! Hey, I haven't had a period in months and didn't miss it! But last week I was ready to eat too much and all the excitment that can come with that time of the month. However, back on track now and always eating my protein first, then the rest.

I had my first fill on June 7th, (surgery 5/10). Got 2 cc's and it is amazing how you do get full a lot quicker. I'm down 13 pounds all total, last week was rough, but back on track now. I've not had anything come up on me yet!
  12. I was only on a liquid diet for two days before surgery. Did anyone else have to do a "bowel prep?" That wasn't pleasant, to say the least! Because of my schedule and and my surgeon's I only had a weeks notice before surgery. Luckily I didn't have to lose weight for my liver. When I found out I was having surgery, I did go a bit CRAZY eating....I'm not lying!

You will continue to thrive and be a gorgeous woman! Keep up the good work. I'm digging tomato soup a lot also!
  14. That bloating feeling lasts a while it seems. I have surgery 5/10 and my first fill 6/7. I'm down like 13 pounds and been walking and hitting the gym. This week I start swimming again....love it!
