  1. I did exactly the same thing, for me it was like I finally felt something was going to work for me so I gave up fighting the daily battle of watching what I ate day in day out. I put on alot of weight in a short time because I ate anything & everything. Dont stress about it too much. All I can say is it will come off once you have been sleeved, believe me. Ive lost all I put on plus more & Im only 2 weeks out. best of luck to you xx
  2. way to go!!! you look amazing!! and it may be time to change your name?
  3. Travel to another country!!! This sounds horrific :/

  5. you look amazing .... and so pretty!!!
  6. ps. By day 4 I had detoxed from the carbs & it became easier - hang in there!
  7. hi jenny, I did optifast for only 2 weeks prior to surgery & found it hard. I was allowed a small piece of lean meat & non starchy vegetables at night for dinner. I would suggest you follow your Doctors orders but in saying that all Doctors seem to have different ideas & diets. All I can say is it does get easier & I lost alot of weight very quickly on optifast & hope you have the same success.
  8. I'd rate the pain about a 6 also. I found the gas pain to be worse than the incision pain. I just wanted to sleep the first day & night & have slowly felt a bit better each day. im one week post-op today . Best of luck with your surgery - you will do fine
  9. thanx OTR I will try that tomorrow
  10. Popcorn is quite healthy!! Its the butter & salt that are the killers! Air-popped popcorn is great - yet tastes nowhere as good
  11. I hear ya girl!! and Im only a few days out!! I want normal food!!
  12. plus your boobs look amazing!!! it doesnt look like they hv sagged or anything. (im straight btw lol) but they look really good, thats one part of me I dont want to lose but seems to be the first part of my body that is getting smaller. I want my boobs to stay & my belly to go!
  13. Im having trouble getting a large glass of water in each day ... although Im sucking on sugar free ice blocks , & I have half a protein shake at breakfast & half a cup of soup at lunch , maybe sugar free jelly for dinner .... does this sound ok???
  14. I have this pain also, everything hurts going down no matter how slow I drink& feel pain in my back with it as well. i think its a normal part of the healing process... but very uncomfortable.
  15. Could someone please give me an idea of how much they ate (drank) at each meal post op on the liquid phase. I know what to have but not sure of the amounts. I dont realyy feel like I have any restriction but everything pretty much hurts going down. I have half a protein shake for breakfast which I add ice to and blend which fluffs up to 1 cup. I can get this down in about 10 minutes - is this too much too fast?
  16. U cant see it?? U must be blind girl!! U look amazing!!! Keep up the fantastic work!

  18. thanx ajpeezy, are u sleeved already?
  19. hi phillygirl, I dont know the answer to your problem but you are in my thoughts. You shouldnt have to put up with so much negativity from the person who is supposed to be your support. Name calling is part of emotional abuse & to say horrible things about you sexually is just disgusting. Ive been in a very abusive relationship and now am single with 4 children. All I really want to say is take care of you and your child foremost & wishing you much luv xx
  20. Hi all, Im sleeved!!! Feeling ok, much better than yesterday, had my swallow test today eewww & had to redo it as they thought they saw a leak. All good though, lots of gas pain but hopefully that will subside soon enough. Wishing all my fellow sleevers much love & speedy recoveries
