Calm down, take a deep breath. You won't stop losing at 9 weeks. The less you have to lose, the slower it comes off. I would suggest putting the scale away. Weigh and measure once a week. You didn't gain all the weight in a few weeks, you wont lose it all in a few weeks.

Sorry, I haven't had the conversion. But I'm sending prayers for healing, and a quick recovery for you now.

I felt bad for the young man. He was kind of shy, but very professional. I think he was trying to tell me he was going for a female and I didn't get it. But no harm done. He was just about young enough to be my grandson! I hope I didn't scar him for life!
That's so funny! But I'm serious, i used the clinic in Cancun, so it probably was the same little guy!

LOl! Probably the same poor male nurse they sent in to my room to put on my compression hose, right before surgery. Little tiny hose, nice giant thighs, and I had an IV in my arm and couldn't help much. So embarrassing.
Wonder what they talk about when they go home?

I had surgery a year ago in Cancun with Dr verboonen. I'm down 81 lbs and feeling great! I highly recommend him.
Feel free to message me if you have any more questions.

Sleeved one year June 15th. Down 81lbs! I would like to lose another 5 llbs if possible. My body seems happy where it is, so we'll see.

It sounds like everyone's in agreement. In the first few weeks, drinking is more important than eating, so drink, drink, drink!

It's very normal to have a stall at three weeks. Be patient. Your body is adjusting to the lower calories and amount of food.< /p>

I like to buy those rotisserie chickens. You can make a dozens different things with it, and no cooking. Example: Toss on a pre-package salad. Mix with a little mayo and relish, and you have a chicken salad, If you can tolerate bread, then you have a chicken sandwich, or my favorite, just melt some cheese and eat it like that.
In the early days, if I didn't feel like eating or cooking, I would experiment with different flavors of Protein shakes.

Your doing terrific! I'm 10 months out and about 10 lbs from goal. My body is content here. After a 3 month stall, it has finally started to move again. I have read where a few people have continued to lose after meeting their goal, and had to up their calories. I don't believe that I will be one of those people, cause my body likes the cushion...Good luck and God Bless!

Mondays, thirty minutes working the arms, then one hour of spinning class. It kicks my butt so hard, I'm still tired on Tuesday!

I used Dr. verboonen and Sheri Burke in Cancun, and had a good experience. As of matter of fact, I sent her an email asking for some info (nine months post-op) and she got back to me within minutes. Sorry you had bad experience....
Also I wanted to say to DawnDenise, I don't think it's normal to bleed through your bandages, clothes and bedsheets from a hospital room. I hope that someone checks on you ASAP!

Dr verboonen and my coordinator Sheri Burke were the same way! I have called, sent emails...nothing. Not one word. The last I've heard from them was when I got dumped off 6 hrs early at the hotel in San Diego in which I spent the day on the lobby couch because their weren't any rooms available. I really need to write a review on here.

Same as Roserie, Severe nausea, pain that started in the front and worked it's way around to my back. Doctor said I was full of stones. Oh, I had no warning, that was my one and only attack.

Awesome!

Woke up feeling pretty good. Amazed, that the only thing REALLY hurting, was my wrist were the IV was! Later in the evening, I was a little sore, but more like I had just finished 100 sit ups!
