  2. OK...I haven't been here in a very long time...wow have things changed! Just a question if anyone has had problems with drinking milk and having it come back up curdled? I've done some research and it happens no matter what type of milk I drink (skim, 1%, 2%) although I most often drink skim. I can only relate what comes up in consistency to that of cottage cheese or a cheese curd. From web research I've done, apparently this means it is partially digested, however, I'm wondering why it continues to occur as I'm so missing my milk. I am on Nexium for acid reflux and wondering if this may in any way relate to my problem either that my stomach is still too acidic (which I don't think the case is) or possibly too basic. Any thoughts on the matter are greatly appreciated!
  3. My little flip flop queen...you look AWESOME! I'm following your posting style...I need to get back here more often!
  4. Wow Alexandra...awesome idea to take it in the same place too! You look great!
  5. Chantal, So glad to hear things are going better...I too have been there and it is amazing what a little serotonin can do when it sticks...I haven't tried Effexor but am on Lexapro and it is way better than anything I've ever taken! Here's to feeling better!
  6. Audrey, You look awesome! Isn't it exciting to see the transformation!
  7. OK so I finally got to your pics...OH MY GOODNESS...you look so hot! Congratulations...and I love the outfit!
  8. I couldn't see the pics but I know you look fabulous! Congratulations...I know you struggled for the first 7 months but look how much YOU accomplished even without the bands help at first!
  9. Best of luck as well...even though it's all over...I've been MIA!
  10. Thanks for all the birthday wishes guys! That was really sweet....I've been crazy busy this past weekend...sisters wedding shower...family picture...shopping for wedding dresses for Mom and Grandma...eesh! I just found out yesterday that one of my friends and coworkers died...not sure how yet but praying it wasn't suicide...so...I had a pretty rough night to be totally honest...one thing...this is when I would normally stuff myself and I didn't...so that is good...if anything positive could come out of it... Anyway...gotta get ready for work and try to do something to my puffy eyes... Love you all.
  11. Hey guys... Thanks for the greeting... I've been crazy busy with work, school, family, and now packing! My Mom is doing really well...still struggling with the speech and in therapy but getting better...either that or we are understanding how she communicates better! The house...I'm really excited...it's a two story salt box that was completely redone...3 bedrooms, one bath, finished basement...it's super cute...it's historic so it's got the tall ceilings and hardwood floors...fenced yard and a big two stall garage for all my power tools...not...with the lack of closet space I'll be storing stuff out there! Other than that just trying to keep on keeping on...
  12. I feel like I have been gone forever...I'm a lurker...yes I've entered the official I've been banded for 8 months and cannot find the time to post...or perhaps my neurosis has resolved and I'm no longer needing to be a codependent freak checking my LBT messages from work getting in trouble for illegal internet access...LOL Anyway...lot's of new faces...it's good to see...now as a seasoned bandster (uh hum...can I officially call myself that) I should be on here answering newbie questions like others did for me... So...what's new...I've been reading and replying when I could...so sorry to hear about Donali again but good Lord what a great attitude...Michelle looks great...thanks for the birthday wish from Bright and a question to Alexandra...why am I not being notified of new PM's? About me...the condo from hell finally sold after being on the market for two years...thank goodness...bought a house and am closing on the same day the condo sells...started back to class last week and it's kicking my ass...and most importantly after a bought with being way too tight from gastritis caused by antibiotics and stress after my Mom's stroke I got an unfill and could eat like a trucker...managed to not gain anything and got a fill back to what I had pre-tightness...WHAT A DIFFERENCE A 15TH OF A CC MAKES! I guess besides checking in to tell you all I miss you and promise to be a better bandster is that those struggling with restriction, besides Anne...sorry sweetie but at least it can be fixed right...a little can mean a whole lot in terms of quantity...I literally could eat 5 pieces of thin pizza before...now...doubt I could eat one...so...getting back on track...took the dog for a walk tonight after I got home from class at 9:45pm...and if anyone wants to help me move I'll provide refreshments! Love you all.
  13. Michelle, OH MY GOODNESS...what a difference...you look so fab!
  14. Is anyone here taking Glucophage or Metformin after being banded? I've been diagnosed with Insulin Resistance and am considering going back on it to even out my hormone levels but am concerned that with them being horse pills they will be impossible to get down...any thoughts?
  15. Donali, Glad to hear your healing well...and yes that's a waist! If I keep eating all these Oreo's I'm going to lose mine! Love ya!
  16. Hey Carmen... I get that way when my reflux is kicking in...it's like you feel something but no matter what you drink or eat it still feels like it's there...could be from your recent restriction...maybe try some Mylanta and see if it helps a bit...
