Me too Brother!! My surgery is July 10th, I have my EDG on Jusy 5th! And I swear if I get that close and they have to push it back, I will freak out!!!

I get my result back today for the breath test. I am praying my surgery is not pushed back.

Okay I took my breath test for h.pylori and I won't find out if I am having surgery until the day of surgery. I am so bummed out. I can't wait anoher 2 or 3 weeks for surgery. However, I think it is harder waiting until the day before surgery to find out if it will happened. What symptoms if any did anyone have after taking the liquid and breath test for h.pylori?

I have to blow in a bag to assure the doctor I don't have stomach bacteria. I already took a Upper GI Endoscopy and the doctor said everything is perfect. However, the test results which finalize the test will take 7 to 10 days. My blood results were inconclusive, which mean the numbers were not low enough to tell I didn't have stomach bacteria and not high enough to show I had stomach bacteria. Today I have an appointment to get clearance for surgery and then I have to go back to the doctor to blow in a bag. This is nerve racking. ughhh! I will know something in a few hours.

I wondering if I can do eggs for my Protein diet instead of shakes?

i was supposed to start my two week Meal Replacement diet today but im starting it tmrw.im sure im going to feel the same way yall feel

I keep saying tomorrow, tomorrow, and I keep slipping up. Hopefully, it would be better. I get so dizzy when I don't eat.

I have to have this test also. Is there anything about this test that may delay surgery? I am having my test tomorrow and my surgery next week.

How do you feel? What's your enegry level like? Is it to soon to tell if you feel smaller?

Last day of school yeahhhh boy

Hello I am a teacher and my date is July 2nd. I am hoping to be past the soft foods stage and on regular foods by the time school resumes. I started pre-op on yesterday and today I fell off the wagon. I guess I better get back on tomorrow with a vengence. I pray to make it through this stage and onto to the next one!

I hoping the same thing. However, if it doesn't work out I am just going to say I am on a liquid diet to lose some weight. It will be so busy when school starts a Protein Shake will help me to eat better anyway. This pre-op diet is hard, hard , hard. I use to be more focus , What happened to my will power. LOl

My date is July 2nd as well. I am hoping and praying all goes well since I have a hernia repair as well.

I am July 3rd. I just started organizing my house and doing last minutes projects to keep me busy. I am excited but I am also praying all goes well. This is a big decisison I am to be focus. I can't seem to get this pre-op down packed

I'm also a teacher and here in this part of the world we are finishing on June 28th. 4 more school days! I have a few days to prepare and then surgery on the 2nd! It is good we have the holidays as recovery time, and good to "meet" up with you lot :-)

I have been looking for the same book. I tried downloading it, No success. I guess I will have to order it.

Well , I finally got approvaled and did most of my pre op testing today. Sonogram tomorrow, and camera down my stomach next week.

I just had my sleeve done last Tue June 12 I been on a liquid so far on day six my Dr said I need to say on it for 14 days total...the good thing is I lost 18 lbs,my first week.but I cant wait to get off the liquid crap.who else is doing the 2 week liquid diet so we don't all feel a lone doing this together......Jeff
