I'm planning to take a week although I don't do any lifting I want to make sure I can rest & give myself adequate time to heal from what I've been reading most people can't get much nutrition in the first week due to swelling so I think I would b worn out & drained so I'm going to take a week to concentrate on sipping more each day Sent from my Desire HD using LapBandTalk

  11. Lapband is has a shorter recovery time less cutting shorter surgery time slower weight loss(less chance of saggy skin) so it fit for me Sent from my Desire HD using LapBandTalk

Sorry that u aren't feeling well April but remember u JUST had surgery u might b expecting too much too soon the body needs time to heal and adjust the the changes the band causes I think it might b too soon to go to work maybe u should thinking about calling in & rest a extra day just a suggestion good luck & I hope u are feeling better soon
  14. We I took the bull by the horn & they gave me a list & phone numbers I got everything scheduled the only downer is the earliest date for my psych exam(w/who they recommended) is 18Jul that's do far off

Carolina I am right the with u I just never seem to feel full so I'm looking forward to the lap band I don't have surgery date I'm hoping for 01AUG or sooner the earliest Psych exam I could schedule is 18Jul so We don't even submit to the insurance comp until after that oh well it is what it is....

  19. How does everyone know there entire schedule do some Dr offices just give u bits at a tome & then some complete everything at one time I had my consult on 10May I have a UGI on 5Jun that's it so far I'm hoping for a Aug surgery date

I have anthem BCBS and I am told it is very fast I am having trouble getting a psych exam they recommended two DR the one I like is booking for the end of July & the other one looks creepy & when I called his answering came on & hr sounded creepy too:/ so u think I'm going to call around worse case I can wait until the end of July what do u have to do for the psych exam if its feeling out forms then maybe DR Creepy will do

Did I see that u said the hospital actually bills u for ur portion after the surgery once the insurance pays their part I will get a bill for my part or do I have to pay whatever is my portion up front it looks like the Max I would pay pending approval is $2500 and that could be less due to all that ive paid for Dr visits and lab test DeAna
  24. I think if my insurance doesn't cover me I might pull the funds from my 401k I really need to get it done and my health is not a bad investment so I actually think I have a plan B DeAna
