    All The April Sleevers

My surgery was April 30 and next week I see my dr for my 6 month post-op. I'm down 84lbs and hope he will be pleased. Got a smaller (in size) wardrobe and activity level is great. Running a 5k almost every weekend this fall and doing an indoor triathlon next weekend. I'm really starting to enjoy my life. Thanks for starting this thread for April Sleevers. Would line to connect with people at the same stage as I am.
  2. I just started puréed foods today. I blended ground chicken with chicken bouillon soup and a little flour to make it gravy like. Also had some mashed sweet potato. I put it in myfitnesspal and omg the calories just jumped off the page at me. It said 4 tbs of sweet potato is 556 calories. I hope not !!! Ate about 1/2 of 1/4 cup of each. I lost 25 lbs on full liquid and pray I won't gain while I begin phase two. Any suggestions what other people are doing would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Hi krenee. I think you will be surprised at how you feel post op. I was in the hospital for 3 days and walked 1.2 miles on day 5 post op. no speed records were broken but I felt food enough to get out and get some physical activity in. It really helped spur my 25 lb weight loss in 2 weeks. Keep posting for support. Good luck to you.
  4. Hello my name is Irene and I'm from Ohio. I was sleeved on the same day, April 30th at 1:30pm. My surgeon also said things look perfect and I've been feeling pretty good and getting back to some walking. I look forward to following your journey as we both have the same surgiversary date.
