  1. I just ordered mine yesterday!
  2. I agree, I think they try to shock you. My sleeve is not temperamental at all and at the beginning I was afraid to do anything because what my surgeon, nut and case manager told me. I generally like to follow doctors order but sometimes I gotta do what I gotta do... in this case, it's my coffee!
  3. Thanks! I just got back from going on a cruise and just realized that this thread was revived.
  4. Thanks for the advice. I have been blessed with no issues with stomach acid. Prior to surgery I only got indigestion when I ate greasy food. Thankfully, I am not a fan of the grease!
  5. Boy you ain't kidding it's DIFFICULT! I am currently drinking 1 mug (1.5 cups) of coffee every morning with splenda and sf creamer. I was hoping that with the weight loss I would gain energy, however, my energy level has suffered greatly after surgery. I have ZERO motivation to work out. I truly believe that if I start to workout I can gain energy and kick the coffee habit... I just need the motivation
  6. Yes Mina I did feel better, Thanks! As for food being stuck, I feel the same, like the food is stuck in my esophagus! It only happens when I eat dinner with my family. I think I try to keep up with them and I always make myself feel sick. I am glad to hear you are feeling better! I guess walking is the remedy
  7. Thanks Lilu! wow! three months after. Well I hope this is a one time thing, I do not do well with vomiting!
  8. Hi Mina, I stopped eating cottage cheese because whenever I had it for lunch, I felt extremely hungry before dinner. As for the barfing, I might have ate too fast because I had skipped lunch and I must have been starving! I don't get the hunger feeling anymore so maybe my body was reacting to my hunger. Thanks for responding Mina! I hope you feel better too.
  9. I officially vomited before I finished my food. I am 2 months out and I have never fully vomited. I spit up and I get slimmies but today I full on barfed. The only thing I have done differently today is skip lunch. I just forgot to eat lunch. When I came home, I had 2-3 oz of pork loin (very tender-I've ad it before) 1 oz cole slaw (also had it before). This is weird. I feel fine. Not sure if it was because I skipped lunch. Anyone have any thoughts?
  10. I'm 7weeks post op and started sliming 6 weeks post op. I though it was because I was eating too fast but then noticed that it was happening when I ate meat. Today, for example, I had skinless chicken thigh and pinto beans with cheese. I started w/my chicken and immediately started slimming! I stopped eating it and just ate the beans and cheese and I was able to finish my meal, well minus the chicken. Not sure what that is about...
  11. Hi Shannon, I will be going on a cruise 2.5 months out of surgery. I have been nervous about all the food that I will have access to. I am glad to hear you enjoyed yourself and at the end of the day that is all that matters (unless you hurt yourself I guess ). I plan on doing the same because I only vacation once a year and I'm just going to enjoy myself. I have learned that I cannot over do it because my sleeve won't let me. Best of luck to you! & good for you!!

I totally agree about the bragging, I think this iswhy she contacted my hubby. I don't talk about him anymore but because she talks so bad about her husband. She has an awful relationship that she stays in due to personal reasons. I feel bad for her. I just wish happiness for her and her family. I guess this is why I don't want to hurt her feelings.
