  2. Hey there not sure about the hunger thing since I'm just 3 days out. But the headaches - most likely due to hydration status. It is a prime sign of dehydration so cheers! *raises glass* good luck!
  3. whew - good to hear it's "normal". Thanks all!!
  4. Hey there - I'm 3 days out myself! I spent only a day in the hospital & came home a day too soon I'm thinking. Dilaudid was so nice for the pain - lol. Not having too much trouble only having to re-train myself to learn how to drink more slowly. I have a J-P drain intact & it's draining well. Not sure if everyone get's one or not. Thank goodness for Turkey Hill ice tea & popsicles - they have been my saving grace. I am able to get my 64 oz. of fluid thanks to the tea. Other than that - I am doing well & down 10.4 lbs. so far! Hope all is well with you and everyone else replying.
  5. I am 3 days post op. I've been having a bit of trouble trying to drink again. I was a gulper - which DOES NOT work with the sleeve. Found this out very quickly. Every once in a while I get this pain that kind swells, expands in my chest or a sharp pain after drinking - it doesn't happen all the time & usually after I take a big drink. So I am attributing to spasms that I have seen on the boards here. But my question is this - has anyone ever felt the "fizzies"? Weird I know but after I drink sometimes I feel like I have been carbonated. lol. Learning how to drink again is proving tough for me. Any tips other than the "sip, sip, sip"?
