  4. Well today I decided to make a change...I dusted off my wonderful almost new treadmill...I started with a 30 min weight loss setting ill gradually add more time. Thnk u all!
  5. Thank you so much! Step one is getting back on this forum for support! Today is the day to make some changes for the good
  6. I was sleeved on 03/12/12...I have lost a total of about 60 lbs...I admit I never did get the will power or motivation to workout and I know that is the reason why I lost only that. I am extremely disappointed in myself for not doing my part so please keep ur negative comments to your self. I hope its not too late to start now. Any suggestions on how to begin a workout so late into it?
  7. Congrats !! Wishing u a happy healthy pregnancy and of course a healthy baby!!
  8. I was sleeved on 3/12 and I too have been stalled. I have not been eating all the protein that I'm suppose to though. Also I have not been eating breakfast or getting an entire 8 hrs of sleep every night I suppose I have to work on these things and maybe lose a few more lbs monthly. I've been an extremely slow loser from the beginning but this is ridiculous.
  9. Well I must say that I feel a little bit of relief knowing that this too is "normal". Thank u all who commented. This week, after about 4 wks, I lost 1 lb I wish it was more but at least the numbers didn't go up. Still frustrated but hopeful that this is not the end. keepin it real
  10. I will b 6 mo out on 9/12 and my weight loss has come to a stop. I am able to eat anything at this point, of course everything in "sleeve portions". My next visit to my doc is next month. I will admit I don't exercise as I should and sometimes don't drink enough Water and I try to eat my Protein daily. So I guess I know what I need to do to try and start losing again. Just venting, but need motivation and suggestions keepin it real
  11. You really are going through a lot, hopefully u feel better sooner than later. Also, I hope ur sleeve will bring u happiness when all this passes good luck! keepin it real
  12. Congrats! Lookin good keepin it real
  13. It would b nice to have someone there with u. But in all reality he can't b with u in the operating room anyhow and ur not in the recovery room for long, if its not possible to have him there in the waiting room though, u can probably arrange child care for after the surgery so he can go b with u for a few hours after...Good luck! ) keepin it real
  14. I'm about 5.5 months post op and I still don't drink beer, I just rather not have the carbonation either. But oh how I'd like to chug a Bud Light Chelada! Lol my favorite drink now is Grey Goose vodka w clamato (like a bloody Mary) I get tipsy w my first glass, my hubby luvs it! Lol But the buzz does go away way fast and like others mention the good thing is NO HANGOVERS ) Drink and have fun!! keepin it real
  15. I think u look really nice! Keep up what ur doin keepin it real
  16. U look good, very beautiful and like others have stated, Inspirational! keepin it real
  17. I'm about 3 1/2 months out and I don't enjoy eating yet. It seems that I always get full with just a few bites and just end up sitting at the table awkwardly while everyone else still eats. And my tummy also decides what will go down ok that day...ugh, and sometime I forget to eat and that's not good either. I'm hopeful that this will change one day keepin it real
  18. I agree, U should call ur doc. I'm 3 mo out and can't eat one egg w out feeling the volume if it...I get sick eating eggs, can't imagine eating 4 at one time. keepin it real
  19. I have been losing weight at a slow rate and regret telling ppl that I had the surgery. No one would have known, my kids know that I was on a diet (pre op) and everywhere we go my 4-yr old manages to tell everyone that I can't eat stuff because I'm on a diet...lol so that would've helped in keeping the WLS to myself o-O Bottom line, if I were u, I'd keep it to myself. Those ppl u work with don't need to know ur business anyways keepin it real
  20. Add me as well ) highpower4me on MFP. keepin it real
  21. I'm now about 10 wks out....but I stalled at about 4 wks out. Mine lasted about 3 wks then I lost only 2 lbs! Then stalled again for another 2 wks and finally lost 3 more lbs! It sux but seeing the inches fall off made the stalls feel not too bad.thus past wk I was on TOM and lost about 3 lbs so I'm not stalled...Yay! keepin it real
