  1. I have lost 94lbs since having the lapband in nov. of 08. I started out at 215lbs and am currently 121lbs. I am 5'4 and have gone from a size 18 to a size 4. My cholesterol dropped over 12 points and my energy level has tripled. I love my current weight and size but am a little worried because the more weight I lose the more noticable my port becomes. It looks very odd and slightly diminishes the pleasure I get from seeing myself naked while being this thin. I can think of only one thing that would eliminate this problem and that is to remove the lapband. However, I worry like anyone would after losing 94lbs., that I will gain the weight back. Also how costly is a removal? I was a self pay to begin with and can't afford anything near what I paid to have it put in. So any advice other than to not wear a 2 piece bikini this summer?
