  1. I'm hooked on jimmy dean turkey sausage crumbles with some reduced fat cheese on top.
  2. Walmart has a fast dissolve biotin. It doesn't taste bad either.
  3. I am going fishing most of the day tomorrow, I won't have a way to cook. What are some easy food ideas that I can take with me? I'm 17 dpo
  4. I so nervous right now. I need to quit thinking bad thoughts about tomorrow in my head. But I'm also excited at the same time.
  5. I have kaiser as well. My surgeon didn't look at how much I have already lost, he wants me to lose 10% of my excess weight (not total weight)
  6. My surgeon is having me off for 6 weeks, but will release me to go back sooner. So I get the time I need.
  7. the only time i see my surgeon is at the consult (which I had on the 9th) and right before they wheel you back for surgery.

  9. You should be fine. Sausage does tend to be high in fat and sodium so make sure your drinking a lot of water. And just don't tell the surgeon that you did it.

  11. On my full liquid diet I get soups, yogurt, pudding, runny cooked cereals (oatmeal or cream of wheat)

  14. I take a multi, B-1 (3x week), B-12, Calcium w/ vit D
  15. I got on the scale this morning and was down 3.2 lbs from my consult weight on Thursday.
  16. I get 3 protein shakes a day, lots of water, 2 string cheeses a day. (I don't eat eggs, or I could have eggs too) sf jello, sf Popsicles, broth, and more water.
  17. My surgery is on the 22nd, my final weigh in is on the 20th. I was told to lose 20 lbs. I'm drinking a TON of water and really trying to stick to my liquid diet. Is this possible if i push myself?
  18. My insurance requires two. I had one in may the other yesterday. I had bloodwork done in may and I have to get new labs 7-10 days before surgury.

  22. In Bakersfield, we have a therapist that does our psyc evaluations during options. They set us up an appt and don't charge us our copay. We get to talk with her for free, and she is wonderful.
  23. You also have to remember that when dealing with insurance companies, every group/employer is going to have different plans that may require something different. It is impossible for doctor offices to know what each company requires, becase if may vary from group to group.
  24. With the sleeve you CAN gain the weight back. This is going to be true of any weight loss surgery. The major changes that are needed to get to goal and to maintain it will have to come from you. You have to watch what you eat and exercise regularly to keep the weight off. The sleeve is just a tool to help you lose weight. It is not a cure all for obesity.
