I haven't heard from her at all. Starting to get worried now.
Breakfast - 5oz yogurt
snack - 12oz tea with Splenda and skin milk
lunch - 6oz chili, 2 saltines
dinner - 3oz teriyaki chicken, 2oz rice/broccoli
snack - 8oz skim milk
Exercise - 35 mins cardio
Went to target today for cheap jeans and exercise pants. To my surprise a size 18 jean was falling down my waist. So I got a size 16 even though it's a bit snug, and size XL yoga pants. Woohoo!

I am down 29.6lbs so far and feel good about myself as well. I am able to walk 30 minutes on the treadmill and my heartrate stays @ 140 2 months ago I had to stop because my heartrate was going over 200 I can climb the stairs to go to bed without huffing and puffing and My Doctor has taken me off 1/2 my meds!!! I am so glad I did this!

Not sure if anyone else has noticed but since losing 29lbs I don't find that the excercise is as hard as it was before the weight loss I was on the treadmill and usually after 1/2 hour my heart rate would go over 200 and I would need to stop now it is steady at 140 yippee!!!

I go to the Doctors tomorrow for my 4 week check I have had a cold for the last 2 weeks and My port is really sore....I got stuck for the first time today drinking Water Hoping everything is ok. Starting to feel hungry between meals which I haven't had to deal with yet so I have been lucky my doctor won't fill until 6 weeks post op so have to stay strong and watch my food intake VS excercise output. I am down 25lbs since I started the journey.

I am on day 4 of my preop diet and have found that if I stay ahead of the hunger I do better I have my coffee at 8am, a Protein Drink at 9:30, chicken broth at 11:30, SF Jello at 1:30, Beef broth at 3:30, a Protein Shake at 5:30, SF popsicle at 7:00 and bed by 9. I am satisfied with this plan.

I know that the pre-op diet will be hard but in the long run we will get healthier and for that I will be strong

Thank you I was also told to get the chewable vitamins as well and will do I do take the pill form now and will probable just continue them until the surgery date since I can swallow them still. I too am looking towards the future and all the possibilities it will open!. I will be your support as well if you need!

I am going to start my pre op diet on April 28th and am really excited about my surgery date of may 8th although I am also nervous. I am worried about getting enough in so I still have the energy to function through my day while on the liquid part of the journey. I would appreciate any help!
I am 47 years old I am 5'6" and weight 260lbs I have sleep apnea, diabetes, high blood pressure, and high chloresterol I am glad to be getting myself healthy again!
