  1. I still have only been able to get 4-6 glasses of water in a day feel too full if I try and push over that I have been burping more than I ever have so not having too much gas pains anymore
  2. Congrats Debbie on your inches lost Sleepyone good luck on the follow up I am sure you will see a change Daisy that is wonderful that you are able to shop at a regular store you should be poud of what you have accomplished I am excited that since starting real foods again I am still losing weight and have not been too hungry yet.

  4. I love Doing Yoga it is relaxing and never realized how much I burned by doing it
  5. I was told by the doctor to excercise 40 minutes a day for at least 4 days I plan on going 5 days a week and yoga on tuesday nights.
  6. I am 3 weeks out and no fill in my band I have just started to feel hungry today I won't get a fill until 6 weeks post op and am still on mushy foods. I am hoping to go on solids this friday as I have had no issues.
  7. Are you drinking enough Water? I am hungry but I find Drinking water helps.

  9. I love this website and have found I could add my own food if it was not on the list which helped when I needed to use it again
  10. I am taking the vitamins and calcium chewables from BJ's Wholesale they were cheaper, and aren't too bad. The Viactiv chews do go stale so be careful. also don't take both together as your body can only absorb so much calcium so I do the vitamin in AM and Calcium PM. I was also told to crush my pills after the banding.
  11. I am also being banded tomorrow and found if I stayed on a plan the liguid diet wasnt so bad I lost 11.8 pounds on it. Try to get on a schedule to help with the hunger.

I am on a 10 day pre op diet Breakfast 1 Coffee 1% milk and equal 1 muscle milk protein Drink Lunch Yogurt Dinner 1 Muscle Milk Protein Drink all I want of Soup broth, crystal light, water, sugar free popsicles, sugar free jello I am on day 3 and feeling not to bad the cravings were tough day 2

  19. Thats good news Kimmyw hopefully I will feel the same I just picked up my protein shakes and gummy vitamins and Calcium today I am getting really excited about starting the journey. Good Luck on your surgery you'll have to keep us posted on how it goes
  20. I know that the pre-op diet will be hard but in the long run we will get healthier and for that I will be strong
  21. Great job! giving them away you are showing that you have the strength to do this I start my pre op diet on the 28th and my surgery is May 8th
  22. Great advice Dawn thank you I will definetly try this and I also do the water trick with myself I used to hate water now thats all I drink

Thank you I was also told to get the chewable vitamins as well and will do I do take the pill form now and will probable just continue them until the surgery date since I can swallow them still. I too am looking towards the future and all the possibilities it will open!. I will be your support as well if you need!
  24. I am going to start my pre op diet on April 28th and am really excited about my surgery date of may 8th although I am also nervous. I am worried about getting enough in so I still have the energy to function through my day while on the liquid part of the journey. I would appreciate any help! I am 47 years old I am 5'6" and weight 260lbs I have sleep apnea, diabetes, high blood pressure, and high chloresterol I am glad to be getting myself healthy again!
