  1. Hey everybody my name is Jazz im from the Dallas area I'm kinda new to this blogging stuff so please bare with me! I was very skeptical about getting on here talking about my experience so far, but from reading most of you'll post and looking @ YouTube at so many stories It gives me some kind of hope and makes me want to share this lifelong journey that I have chosen to take on, ok so let's see where to start... As of Jan 24 2012 when I first started contacted different surgeons in my area My stats were Age: 27. Weight: 344 Height5"6 Started my Pre Op Diet on March 25 ( which my Dr. Only advised a one week clear liquid diet so on Wednesday the actual day Of surgery I weighed before I went in that early morning and I weighed 333 (yay 11lbs down just from Proteins shakes and broth) Okay so today I weighed myself just to see is there a difference and now I'm at 324!!! I'm think I'm starting to like this already!! I see a lot of members posting about stalls I'm only assuming that's when u go without losing any weight over a period of time? Well If so let me know , I'm now just now learning to try to cope with just watered down oatmeal, protein drinks (isopure and nectar) not a fan of grits so I want even bother with those but crystal light is very tasty now to me for some reason before having WLS I may have never drank any of that, burned out on broth already but hey I'm working on a better me for me and my kids(4) so I have to stick with it Well good luck to everyone that's has done it and everyone thinking about doing it...YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!
