No pre existing condition... Don't wanna scare anyone, but I had a spasm on my throat when they tried to pull my tube after surgery.... My lungs filled with fluid and have been working on drying them out ever since... Thanks for your thoughts

Ok so here's my problem ... I was banded on July 25, was only expected to stay overnight, but because of breathing complications I am still in the hospital...they have had me on diet jello and clear juice the past 5 days, but the protein gel they give me to add is really bad! Do I haven't been using it and feel like I'm not gettin my nutrition I need ! I have asked to see the nutrionist, but haven't yet..... When can I at least have some pudding or yogurt? I had a barium swallow yesterday, and everything with my band is great.

I also am having my surgery at Lehigh Valley on July 25... My husband attended the first seminar with me and has been 1000% supportive , I don't know what I would have done if he wasn't. I think you need to take him to a seminar and try and convince him this is something you need to do! Without his support, i believe you could be in for a hard time. The pre-op program at LV was great and they can help you with many different issues, just ask!

July 25, 2012 here ... Just got my approval today!
