  1. Hi All , After 3 weeks of surgery my weight is stalled at 276 lbs. I was 305 on surgery day and almost 277 in 2 weeks. I am not eating anything more than 600 - 700 calories. Following daily 45 minutes walk. Following Protein intake of 80 gms a day . Also I am drinking lot of Water. Please help me. What I am doing wrong ? I haven't lost a pound since last 6 days after 3 weeks into surgery.
  2. Thanks . Tofu really sounds great and being Indian person , I have no problem to use fancy spices to currify or spice up tofu. Thanks for this. There is one kind of cheese we use in Indian food is called "Paneer". Its kind a tofu made up of whole milk versus Tofu is from Soy Milk. That is good suggestion. Also one more question if anyone know. Is boiled rice ( like a brown) is allowed in post 2 weeks diet ? Or may be use "Quinoa" instead of rice.
  3. Hi Guys , I am about to start my post op two weeks diet from tomorrow. I am on liquid as well as some cottage cheese and greek yogurt. I was 321 lbs before pre op diet when I started in program, On March 28 , the day of surgery I was 304 lbs. Today in two weeks I am at 279 lbs, Looks like not that bad result. What you guys say about this result ? The real problem is I am vegeterian person. I have never eaten any meat nor I will eat. I do eat dairy and eggs but thats it . No fish or any other meat. I am studying all 2 weeks post op diet advices , I am seeing only meat receipe mostly. Does any of you have any suggestion on Veggie food starting from 2 weeks post op ? I do drink 70- 80 gramd of very low carb Protein shakes a day.Looks like it will be very turf for me in food choices , right ?
  4. I am 2 weeks from op now, I started eating cottage cheese with thai chilli sause to spice up little bit ) and some greek yogurt with splenda since day 3 of op. I am doing ok. May be this will help. Don't count me on that thai chilli sause but just a plain cottage cheese and greek yogurt should be ok. I also had Campbell cream of brocolli and cream of mushroom Soups from day 4 also. Just fyi.I am just two weeks today and I feel like starting some solid food but I will tillI see my Doctor on Friday and then he will decide. Let me tell you my Doctor allowed me to eat cottage cheese amd greek yogurt from day one.
  5. Thanks guys for all prompt reply. The biggest worry I have is did I commit a big mistake by adding spiced sauce (made with Thai chillies) in my cottage cheese in first week itself ? That chilli thing is killing my brains right now.
  6. Hi , I did my VSG on March 28 and today I completed my first week. I think I am doing one mistake in diet.Can someone experiece person in this topic can explain me ? Here is some concerns. I started eating cotage cheese and since last 3 days and as well as lentil sup and brocolli and cheese Soups. IS it too early? Also I do mix some spiced souces ( Not very spicy but mild ) with cottage cheese since yesterday . Am I doing some big mistake in this food in my first week ? I am eating almost 60 to 70 grams of Protein and enough liquids with my Vitamins. I do not have any pain or other issues. Please help as after reading these forum everyone is drinking very clear liquid in first week versus me already in non clear liquid and all other things mentioned by me.I am feeling scared right now after reading other posts.
