No GERD symptoms now..yeah hooo I did have some inital pain with my bra but that has disipated. Good luck to you, keep us posted.

  6. I'm 2 days post op..Can't stomach the shakes very well either,,I've been mixing the Protein with minimal amount of Water, taking a small teaspoon probably geting 30 grams of protein a day... Are you taking your pain meds??? I have a marcaine pain pump( plus pain meds) that will be finished tomorrow, then I can pull it out... The gas in my shoulder the first day was terrible, yesterday upper chest and throat.. Stay off the scale...it is not a good indicator right now of what's going on... I've had several surgeries...hysterectomy laprocopic with vaginal assist and lap-chloe (gall bladder removal) laproscopically ...This is tougher...As soon as I remove my pain pump maybe later today I'm wrapping my mid-section with ace wraps..I did that with my lap chloe and hysterectomy feels more secure..but you need to remember to splint, deep breathe and cough.. Take care one day at a time..
  7. I'm one day post op, finally got rid of the gas in my left upper back and shoulder, now in my upper chest and throat....burping...unable to eat very much....going to try some Jello soon. Keep with it, it is an investment in your future....

  9. It differs in that; the diet green tea has added aspartame(thus diet no sugar added), and a citrus flavoring. I'm sure it does have some antioxidant effect, but I don't think as much as regular green tea does per serving.
  10. Green tea has great anti-oxidants..I usually buy decaf...Gave up coffee..as can be a gastric irritant..Pending surgery April 27th.

  20. Sounds yummy, I'm a ways off from eating this ...My first day of pre-sleeve diet... Feeling a little hungry....
  21. Thanks for your encouragement...Yes, the carbs, sugars will be hard..Gave up caffeine a while back..won't have that battle...Good luck to you...
  22. Unbelievable, I'm a RN and I have seen subtle changes through the years for staffing reuirements..Obesity is a disease..Do they not hire nurses that have other chronic disease processes..like thyroid, diabetes, hypertension!!!!!!!!!!
